That’s just a general pitch for “internet of things” and the connected home that the Fool has been running for a year or two — the specific reference is to some guys who pitched some expensive internet-connected heating vents, but the spiel has generally been used for IoT baskets of stocks. Not sure specifically which ones made the list for that special report, but the general candidates for IoT stocks from the Fool services have included NXP, Skyworks, Splunk, Palo Alto Networks and Alphabet.
The focus was on Arm Holdings. From smartphones to internet of things, (IOT) Cambridge-based chip designer remains at the heart of a new front in tech innovation. SoftBank Group Corp. agreed to buy ARM Holdings
