I will from time to time post new things found and things of interest to me in the natural world. I will attempt to answer all questions to limits of my ability and reference. Nothing that advances knowledge off limits except personal attacks and things not suitable for a Travis forum. Please show basis for opinion expressed.

Frank – A few years ago I was at a friends lake house at Lake of the Ozarks. On a screened in porch surrounded by oaks, he had placed a flying squirrel feeder filled with unsalted peanuts. Just after sundown, his first customer came gliding in. Despite years out of doors, I had never seen one. It was a wonderous experience and I started reading all I could find about these little guys. Thanks for the picture and links.

John

Hmmm – do you think POETF is at risk of being leap-frogged before they optimize their new chip? I don’t know enough about chips to know.

That’s good to know. Thank you, Frank, for taking the time to think it through and answer; you’re the best, and I so do appreciate you.

Frank (from the other Frank),IMO, for someone who “doesn’t pretend to understand it” you seem to have a good grasp as to how it might work.

Frank
