Hiring someone to buy/sell for me…….

Does anyone know if this is done? I am totally afraid and not educated on stock trading and want someone to manage it for me. I am already retired but have a little $$ I can lose.

Look if you do not know what to do, join the group:) invest into a mutual fund, low risk. Open a account at Ameritrade mention me and educate yourself. Buy stocks that give a dividend Ex Ford one share gets you .60 cents a share per year. Take classes @ Ameritrade because no one is going to take care of your money like you

for your second, read dr.kss’ articles if you think that bio stocks are something that you might consider … but remember, the good dr.kss only analyses the science he does not tell you what you should invest in …
personally, if you want your money to grow substantially, you should invest yourself in individual companies, but this is riskier than mutual funds, which is “safer”, but likely doesn’t have as great returns, and conversely may not lose as much either, although both can go down … so, dr.kss’s reviews are an excellent place to start … i use fidelity & trades there are $4.95, but there are many excellent choices

I didn’t know much about stocks either, so I bought all these expensive subscriptions and did what they said. Well, I lost a lot of money. Frustrated, I sold all my stocks, and I felt a wonderful sense of relief. I did start buying American Eagle coins (gold and/or silver) from APMEX.com. These hold their value and can be easily liquidated, if desired. Well, I cancelled my expensive subscriptions. Later, i did get back into the stock market a little, about 5K, but I regret it, as it is a loss. If you buy precious metals, store them yourself in a safe at home. Maintain possession of them. They are also insurance against the dollar’s devaluation. I still don’t know much about stocks, but I lost enough money to realize that stocks are not for me. I can understand precious metals and I have possession of what I own to do with as I desire. I also wasted a lot of time on trying to educate myself on stocks, etc. That was also something that I wasn’t interested in doing. Don’t lose your money. Stocks are like gambling at Vegas, and I can do without that. Buy American Eagles, the world’s most collected coin. The silver ones are 99.9% pure silver. The gold one are solid gold.
