This bill which is now law, according to a newsletter I receive. States that American tax payers can turn in all the purchase’s made in 2017 and the government will refund a percentage.
I read this bill, which is very, very long and could not find anything close. Anyone have any information?

That’s the big appropriations bill from 2015, sounds like they’re probably just teasing the same “you can deduct sales taxes instead of state income taxes” thing that they’ve been pitching as a government “rebate” for years (it’s not).
I wrote about this extensively when it was teased as a way to “collect a cash rebate on nearly every single purchase” by the Oxford Club, that article is here: https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/oxford-club/whats-oxford-clubs-42-4-billion-consumer-rebate-program/
I’ll look and see if there’s anything new in this HR2029 version of the ad, haven’t seen that yet — but I bet they’re still pitching the same thing.
