What is a Shadow Pool?

It’s a term I use to describe a little known – but perfectly legal – investment area that exists in the “shadows” of the regular stock market.

These ‘shadow pools’ are 100% legal, IRS-approved for many retirement accounts… and open to nearly all investors.

Its obscure what he is talking about but it is some sort of option trading.

A few years ago I was doing option credit spreads. I was trying to find setups where I would get a 50 cent or more credit on a monthly spread with $5.00 at risk. I wanted to sell them far enough out of the money that the option wouldn’t be exercised and I would not have a loss. It became a job looking for positions with the right amount of risk. His service gives you those positions so all you have to do is place the trade if you like. Whether this particular program is spreads or just buying puts or calls or selling covered calls I don’t know. Usually there is a bit more info in his sales pitch.

Does Poulos ever recommend anything? or is he just trying to sell other ‘services?’

My thoughts exactly. Every offer just pitches the next great trading technique. And he seems to suggest BUYING Options, when any experienced trader knows that upwards of 80% of all options expire worthless, so why buy them??

It’s the same Bill Poulos “invitation only” “webinar” I listened to this morning. What a crock. He offers a cheap look into one program and then floods your email with opportunities to buy more and more training without ever giving you sufficient detail to feel comfortable in trading . Haven’t been able to find anyone who wants to just sell one training program. They’re all just click bait to get into your In Box

one of too many people on line selling newsletter memberships. They are obviously working for a publishing company & obviously attended the Trump school of self promotion.

You the big thread roaming around is you will be a millionaire if you get this one stock that is about to explode. They hype it up the whole time saying they are going to tell you in a minute. Then try to dell you the shirt of their back and at least 1 arm and leg. Just tell us dam, it is not all that and a bag of chips. Just tell us and then watch it tank and do nothing. But we do not get it and who knows if you if you even get the stock or the instructions when you pay all that money?
