What’s your take on Steve Sjuggerud’s “melt-up” theory. He says the end of the bull market is coming with a crash in 12 to 18 months, but before it hits here will be a dramatic run-up in certain stocks. I don’t know which stocks he’s recommending because I can’t afford his deal at $3,500 for two years, but he’s high on international FANG stocks, especially Chinese. At the same time Porter Stansberry recommends buying long term puts on highly leveraged companies to make money when the market crashes. That’s part of the deal with Sjuggerud. I would love to see your analysis.

Do you have any scope on Stansberry’s Big Trade? It involves buying options on the VIX or warrants. Since the VIX is so cheap at this time can you suggest some possible option trades to carry through the end of the year. A lot of us would like some additional insurance. Anybody else with possible VIX option trades??
