Silver investment

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase silver[1] bars. I’ve purchased some bars In The past from a mint that filed bankruptcy and lost the investment. I’m interested in having silver in my portfolio but Leary of the purchase. Basically it is gifts for my children for the future.

Ordered my 100 ounce bar yesterday at 3:30pm central time…UPS delivered it this morning at 9:30am…18 hour turnaround. Can’t ask for anything better than that. Someday silver will be in such short supply that doing this will seem like a dream. But for now…it’s a reality. Get yours before the election and the dollar demise.

I love this Sunshine silver bar! It’s a lot of weight for the size of the bar. It would have been nice if it came sealed in plastic though. There is too much of a chance for it to tarnish. The bar looks great though. Thanks JM Bullion!

For bulk silver purchases, its hard to beat JMB. For silver bars, its hard to beat the security of Sunshine’s stamped bars. The etched marking adds extra security to the purchase. And, at the time of this writing, silver sells at a higher 77:1 discount against gold.

The Sunshine 100oz Bar looks impressive and is a hand full to hold. I love the mirror like finish on the front and the anti-fraud markings are another plus. Considering these are so heavy I probably won’t buy more of them but am glad I did. So far all my experiences with JM Bullion have been good. The finish isn’t perfect like you would expect on a Canadian Maple Leaf or something like that but pretty close.

I have used JM Bullion also and am typically happy with them. I tend to find lower prices at my local coin dealer, I guess its the shipping savings.
I use SilverGoldBull from Calgary. They just had a deal where you could get a 10 oz. bar at spot, with free shipping no less! But you did have to bump your oder to $500+ to get the free shipping.
