Hi – not sure this “501(k)” plan, ”How to Fully Fund Your Own Worry-Free Retirement” has been covered here at Stock Gumshoe. It’s new to me, so if anyone knows about it, I’d appreciate any information.

  1. That appears to be a hodgepodge of retirement “rescue” solutions, but the biggest focus is on what Palm Beach has consistently pitched as the “best tax break” and the “secret account” used by bankers and Presidents and Benjamin Franklin and God knows who else to collect much greater returns than bank accounts.

That part is a reference to cash-value life insurance, which they’ve also pitched as “770 accounts” or “702(j) accounts” — I wrote much more extensively about their previous ads of this ilk here: https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/palm-beach-letter/secret-770-account-or-the-presidents-account-explained/

Just another …. [fill in the blank]. The 501k plan book was supposed to be all that for 5 dollars and 25 cents. They turned it into a recurring charge for their “Letter” and charged $99 the next month. In the meantime I started getting their useless “Letter” – an email came in with links to videos and more scams. I paid no attention to it – thinking it was just marketing. They even called me and tried to get me to signup for something – I didn’t. As soon as I saw the $99 charge on my credit card, I submitted a dispute and will never do any business with them, period. You’ll see comments on the internet from others who have tried to call them and get their $299 back – no answer, no refund.
Buyer/Web Surfer beware what you read and where you click! You may be buying a desert oasis for $99 a month if you don’t pay attention.
