Sounds like an odd creation to provide convenience for folks who want to buy silver, gold, palladium and platinum — most of which, other than palladium, are pretty easy to buy in pretty much any form you want. I haven’t looked at the details, but I would look carefully at what their fees and premiums are — how much are you paying them, over and above the value of the physical metal, for this allocation strategy and storage? I suspect that for a small investor the total cost of whatever they’re offering is probably quite high, but that’s just a guess.
