I don’t think Amazon will dominate the grocery market or kill their competitors like Kroger (which is probably getting to a reasonable buying point for the first time in many years), but I do think they continue to have massive growth potential… and that the tie-up with Whole Foods will be a big boon for both brands over the next five years, particularly as Amazon Prime becomes Whole Foods’ “membership” or “loyalty” program.

Don’t own any Amazon stock. Just to high when I started managing our own portfolio. I’m a prime member going on 5 years, for $100.00 a year for streaming and able to buy anything from them with 2day free shipping they are just really the most awesome deal in the world. As far as grocery market we go with Home Chef. Like Blue Apron. Very convent with breakfast, lunch and, 4 star dinners for just myself and my wife with weekly delivery meals for us. $9.95 for each individual meal with erbs, spices, vegetables, fruits, meats. And everything pre -measured . Martha Steward also is in the bussiness. I see Amazon taking over this market on a local scale which would or should say will be top dog and running the competition out of bussiness. Jeff Bezos is avery gifted entrepreneur.
