Heard they are Internet providers coming to the USA to beat out competition like Comcast, Verizon
Etc I believe they’re possibly based in Japan
Supposedly funded by “Japan’s richest tech visionary”…. the Bill Gates of Japan. Also backed by Richard Branson. They will use thousands of micro-satellites to cover the globe and beam down cheap internet access. Those are some of the hints Agora gives in it’s tease. Anybody know??? They say just $5000 investment will make you a multi-millionaire!

We covered that teaser ad here — Blanco is presumably recommending OneWeb’s major shareholders, either Softbank or one of the other satellite companies that owns shares (like Echostar, which is also a service provider for OneWeb). OneWeb itself is not yet public, and has not filed to go public.
My personal sense is that satellites are a tough and insanely capital intensive business, so they’ll need long-term visionary leadership (which they have) to keep talking people into putting more money into the company (so far so good, but they’ll need a lot more money still), and they’ll need to start out with some pretty early success in the next year or two to keep investors excited and make an IPO possible. Either that, or they may end up needing someone with a lot more cash and the ability to absorb big losses for a long time, (like Softbank, perhaps) to take control.

One web is privately owned ,therefore , shares are not offered. It is rumored that One Web will offer an IPO in November. I believe Coca Cola and SoftBank are large investors in this company,so, perhaps investing in these companies may be the next best thing until IPO is available.

Anyone know how this company is different from IRDM? They already have military contracts and have been launching new technology monthly all year. Stock price has been stagnant for years.
Iridium is voice/messaging NOT high speed data transfer, a snails pace compared to this new technology.
I read that the IPO will come on board 12/7, but don’t know under what name – probably One Web. Check with your brokerage firm. They may know. That’s what I plan to do first thing Monday morning.

Any new word on this tech? Stock symbol and price?
Seems like it is on hold. Wondering if it is real or imagination of someone. From what I see about 5G it might cover for internet and wireless. If so then halofy will be useless. What say ye??
