To buy XLM, one must open an acct on Coinbase, then after verification, fund it with BTC or ETH, because they were the only available options to exchange for XLM Lumens on Binance. LTC was not an option in XLM purchase. Be mindful that unless you are approved for instant bank transfer, your BTC or ETH purchase on Coinbase takes 9 days before the balance appears in your wallet. Frustrating. So, open the Coinbase acct, set up your banking ACH transfer information, purchase BTC or ETH, wait for the balance to appear (8-9 days), set up your Binance acct, then in Coinbase, under “ACCOUNTS”, select SEND under ETH or BTC, and send your tokens to the proper address copied from the Binance “Funds/Deposits” menu. Just be mindful and careful so as to properly execute your transaction. Once Binance receives your BTC or ETH, go to Basic Exchange, select XLM/BTC or XLM/ETH and execute the BUY. Make sure your order filled. Good luck. We are all new to this arena….

This market is incredibly interesting and should be treated like you do things like super cheap research stage Biotechs. Have a basket of them you believe in for whatever reason and trade as you go to minimize risk while maintaining a core position in the ones you truly understand.
I have been drinking from a firehose on this for a long time and it’s still an amazing amount of info per day and week. It is not going away…either CryptoCurrencies or BlockChain but there will be an absolute culling repeatedly.
Having said that Ripple and Stellar Lumens both have solid chances as do a few others. Disclaimer:

Agree with above comment re strategy. I’ve been following the price of zcash since Edward Snowden talked about it, and it’s been from 400 to 700 to 400 in days. Volatile market, good for trading, hard to have conviction holds without knowing a million times more than I do. (But also like the idea of lumen, must admit. Like buying shares in a brokerage..)
I also follow John McAfee on Twitter and his company Mgti. Never sure if he’s totally crazy or very bright, or both, but with 300k followers he’s a big influence for sure…

Palo Alto Networks (PANW) stock has seen some choppy trading over the past few days. On Jan. 18 the stock staged a marginal breakout, which was followed by a down-day on Jan. 22 that likely faked-out some near-term bulls. However, the stock closed off its intraday lows, which then yesterday was followed by an up-gap and rally. The stock proceeded to close at the very upper end of the day’s trading range.
This formation I just described is what I refer to as a B2 reversal … best2all

I think the eTora site is one of the best. Easy to understand and use, and good charting system. A nice place to see the major CCs, The problem with it is that they charge Big Time for holding overnight any stock or CC. You need to choose a clear winner, and get out quick if the stock starts to consolidate. After initial good results I have reverted to playing the Options market on Schwab, where I can hold longer term and get better results.

I’ve read James Altucher; he discounts 95% of crypto-currencies with good reasoning – his scale of value includes the crypto meeting a real need, having experienced management, being established and a few more common-sense guidances – the more interesting part of the digital craze is the blockchain technology, being adapted to many bricks and mortar sectors. I think that they are not going away – there is potential in amongst all the hype

BlockChain and bitcurrency/bitcoin is on track to using as much electric power as EVs. That is a disruptive effect that no one saw coming. Bitcoin may be in a bubble and burst but blockChain is usable for many other things.
