As always, a much appreciated look behind the curtain.
Thanks Travis, very informative report.
There are only a handful out of thousands of stock market pundits where one can take at face value and trust what they say (without wondering what hidden agenda lurks in the background) . StockGumShoe tops that list
Never received my Friday File email this week so logged into the website today to read it. The lack of many reader comments makes me suspect I was not alone in missing a Friday email. FYI.
p.s. Enjoyed the article as ever — always learn something new from Travis, and his methodology is a real education in how to evaluate stocks.
Sorry Stefan, some of our emails get caught in more spam filters than others. We’ll double check your account, but that’s probably the issue this week.
NVDA is my best and biggest position since I first bought it in 2012 as a small position based on a Motley Fool recommendation. I bought more in 2016. I have not done any profit-taking. I have read those stories about how much $5,000 or $10,000 in Microsoft or Amazon in the beginning is worth seven figures, etc. today. NVDA now represents 20% of my portfolio because of the huge growth. I am an inexperienced buy and hold investor, but every time I think about selling, it shoots up more and people are still touting it as a current pick. I like your stop loss at $185, but am I crazy to not be taking some profits now?
Hi Trevis, thank you for the update. What do you think about the latest news about USAU?

The drill outcome seems pretty good but didn’t impact on the share price.
Hi Travis,
I bought a whole bunch of OROCF stock even before Oxford Club promoted it.Do you know what, it looks those folks at Oxford Club are right, slowly but surely, OROCF inches up. And OROCF is a solid company now from its financial and production points of view. My gut feeling is that CTEQF is another beautiful gem on hand, I bought a lot of shares, since you own it, I plan to add some more. The fact is the macro-economical trend looks good for Lithium and Cobalt especially for
Cobalt. Am I right?
Hi Travis,
also have trouble receiving my Friday files and updates from your portfolio.
Checked my spam and there is nothing in the spam either.
I have noticed before that friday files did not arrive here in my email account, but somehow managed with weekly updates to find them finally.
When I read Stefan’s comment above, I realized that something is not working ok from your side of the system. Please check up on it. There must be a way to find out why it doesn’t work for everyone.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for letting me know about the email delivery issue — it turns out we did have a screwup (entirely mine) that meant a lot of the emails were not sent on Friday. So sorry about that, it was re-sent this morning and I’m sure my next mistake will be a different one.
If you didn’t receive the email today, either, then that’s an issue either with your individual account or with spam or bulk mail blocking — and unfortunately, some of it is out of both of our control. Spam blocking doesn’t necessarily mean it’s stuck in the spam filter at your individual account, lots of providers block a huge amount of mail before it even gets that far — we find some of the older ones like aol and earthlink are more aggressive in blocking our mail than others, but it varies from day to day.
If you are having trouble with receiving the emails (other than last Friday’s which I screwed up), please do follow up with us at payments@stockgumshoe.com and we can dig into each individual case. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding.
Most email providers will have a “good list” that a user can add specific emails or even website domains to, that will allow them to bypass any filtering. Anyone having trouble should pursue that avenue to make sure they’re getting future emails from any important sources.
I read the letter on my phone. In the header, it says to click on here to get the mobile version. Every time I do it reverts back to the January 9-letter
