HEMP News…Innerestin news came in today (Saturday) through my news feed for, ironically enough, MJNA? I’m not sure if it was mentioned here already but this news could have a profound impact on the share price of not just MJNA but HEMP, as well, should explode if the legalization of industrial hemp becomes legal on the federal level…TWT.

On March 26, 2018, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) announced his intention to propose legalizing industrial hemp as an agricultural commodity via the Hemp Farming Act of 2018. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is co-sponsoring the bill, along with a bipartisan group of senators.

I’m grateful to who ever mentioned it here. It brought me back to HEMP-OTC after I walked away from it with a small lose when I confused it with the Canadian company with the HEMP symbol (Hempco foods HEMP.V) They were and still are associated with ACBFF-AURORA…it took me a day or so to figure out my error as both were trading at about the same price. {HEMP.V roared off before I could get in LOLOL!}
I should be embarrassed at such a gaff but if I couldnt laugh at my own mistakes I’d be missing out on a LOT OF LAUGHS.
As it is, this site brought HEMP OTC back on to my radar, apparently, just in the nick of time…as if I needed more reason to continue my subscription!

Have you located any financials on HEMP? I don’t see any info on them in the services that aggregate financial info, though I haven’t looked to see if they actually file with the SEC.
I like the story of an industrial “hemp renaissance”, but a story isn’t enough — it has to make sense as a business, and be something you can buy at a rational price.

I don’t know if you read the post I made about my ‘trading’ strategy? After 2008 I’ll NEVER ‘invest’ in another company of ANY kind EVER again. The way I look at companies now is that ALL OF THEM will do whatever is necessary to MAKE MONEY and morality, ethics lol and least of all, in most cases, legality…as any of it applies to their shareholders or anyone else for that matter.
If they weren’t out to bilk us why wouldn’t they stay private and go to a bank for cash?

It’s all about the money.
I’ll put a ‘night on the town’ (for me a ‘reasonable’ amount) on any stock that has a good story line. Stories drive price. Good stories on equites in industries that are trending hard even more so.
The entire market is all pump and dump…period. I lost a ton of money before I figured out what a scam it all is.
Just look at how share holders feel today still holding GE, FB, Tesla or thanks to recent attacks from the leader of the free world… Amazon!?
With all that said, you are always better off making choices based on ALL the information you can get…assuming you don’t put much faith in the honesty of that info. Fundamentals matter to ‘investors’. I speculate. I throw a couple of *hunnurd bucks at any stock that I think is going to move, buy more if it does and dump it when it stops…or I get RS’ed out of my leverage. Not knowing the share structure IS a prety big issue…for investors. Then again, how did those filings help the holders of TRTC who ‘invested’ without reading the filing, that they ALL had access to, telling them a RS was coming? I didn’t. I was swimming out on the edge of the school and got bit but not eaten…my news feed alerted me a half hour before the market closed and as soon as I dumped my shares I came here to warn deaf ears of what was coming. I lost 30 bucks…50% of their investment’ was gone in 48 hours, some got eaten…to busy lookin at all the prety coral, no doubt? Do ya think the CEO cares about um? Does anybody? Not anymore than the reef cares about the scraps of meat falling to the seafloor after the sharks have had their fill…why should the reef care? The crabs will eat now too. (I’ve been a crab…the scraps can be quite tasty at the right price)
Capitalism is savage. As in nature, people flock together for protection. People come here for basically the same reason. They look for the perceived safety that can be found in the opinion of others…the more information the better right? Still, no assurance that the shark won’t bite.
To be fair, in the future, I’ll make a point of listing the market of any stock I want to share my opinions on. As I’ve said, I’m no big shot. I don’t have a majik wand or ‘insider’ info or an opinion that should matter any more than any other person here.

Just WHEN the farm bill will be passed or even IF it gets past is anyone’s guess. The farm bill was set up as it was because food is so important to the nation. Putting food stamps into the equation forced the bill to become bi-partisan in its nature. Country farm interests on one side of the bridge and food for the city dwellers on the other. Personally, I think the ONLY reason that the sponsors of this bill has thrown industrial hemp in the mix is because they know what a nightmare the EASY TO WIN trade war is going to cost our farmers. Hemp (the plant) just could be the windfall that will save them…(first salvos of this EASY TO WIN WAR have landed…market is down 700 points and China is out, er, ah, hummm…well they must be out sumpin, eh?). Washington believed growing hemp was the financial foundation that built our young, non-industrial, farming nation. It was his main crop.
The price for that windfall, of course, will be Food Stamps. How evil can the wealthy Christian rightwing get when they are willing to bankrupt grocery stores everywhere AND pay a huge amount more for their farm food items just so they can proudly boast that they are responcible for ending another ‘entitlement’…just don’t look behind the curtain hiding all the low income people who will go hungry…85% of which will be the CHILDREN of the working poor.

At the risk of to much digressing…the politics in all of this does matter.
Food stamps are NOT an ‘entitlement’. They are a subsidy for the grocery industry…with the lowest margins of any industry, they need it. Well, they need it if we are ALL TO EAT. I don’t guess I’d care if I was a billionaire filling my pockets with free government money, how much I have to pay for groceries or where the get shipped in from…my kids will still be obese.

Whatever…the Farm bill has gone for years without being pasted in times gone bye. With the bi-partisanship a long ways off it’s anybody’s guess how it will actually effect anyone’s share price…if ever.
