”THIS TINY $6 COMPANY IS GOING TO REPLACE EVERY “SMART DEVICE” ON THE PLANET”… It is IVAC

Curzio claims:
“By this time next year, every single smartphone, tablet, smartwatch and auto display system you own will be obsolete. The year after that, nearly 40% of the world’s population will be using this replacement instead. Early investors stand to make 10x their money or more… with almost ZERO RISK.”

Curzio’s take is a super durable glass will be used on everything. Intevac (IVAC) has a component of their business that produces a protective film for glass. There is a video on their website that is pretty compelling.

In this presentation below IVAC mentions the 20x Scratch Resistance and the 20% Breakage Resistance that Curzio quotes in his newsletter.

IVAC believes they have a $500 million Revenue Opportunity assuming 25% adoption on various devices.

Obviously with <$150 in Market Cap, a $500 million revenue opportunity could double or triple the share price. It trades at less than 2x Book value and EV/Ebitda of 12.Obviously there has got to be competitors, and I’ll be checking into those. Curzio may be right on the risk reward. It does trade only 120K shares a day, so if he gets any traction on his spam this thing could pop.Cheers!

His teaser promotes it as an earth shattering change for the cell phone and tablet industry. Some searches on glass tech led to articles on self- repairing glass technology with a polymer called “polyether-thioureas.” No idea if that’s part of the story.

Reading the conf call- he is most likely referring to the oDLC glass coatings they provide via their “vertex” project. I see the mention of a top 5 cell phone company. I see the insider and institutional buys, he teases, some insider non-open mkt options etc.

Interesting but no ideas on who their competitors are etc

Very helpful. It’s a slick sales pitch and seems to have promise. I do not know the barriers to entry for other firms or existing competitors. Will look into that tomorrow

Read a report from ford equity research, they list PAR and PSDO as competitors/peers. Their report is very negative on IVAC, but cites mainly that the stock is down over the last year, and that growth and earnings have slowed over the last year +.

Looking at Fidelity, analyst opinions are all over the map, not that they are opinions worth following.

Sounds like Curz May be predicting an earnings rebound based on a top cel phone provider inking a deal with them. If that turns out to be true, the stock could very well rebound. Course if the market sell off we’re to accelerate below the 200 day MA, it may not matter. I’d be watching a mental stop closely not sure if I’ll take a position.
