Hi All, Has anyone come across Michael Foster[1] Investment Strategis CEF Insider[2], the link to his add is https://contrarianoutlook.com/secure-fast-gains-cefs/DTA24[3] and to me it looks good, but wanted a second opinion.

I haven’t looked into that particular ad yet, but we’ll throw it on the pile. Closed-end funds can be fairly appealing when the discount gets high enough, though you want to avoid the dud funds that have higher expense ratios or huge leverage and always trade at steep discounts.
Saba Capital has done an admirable job of activist investing with some of the bigger funds, getting the discount reduced through tender offers – might be worth following what they do, Boaz Weinstein gave a good presentation on this at the Grant’s conference today. Some of their recent purchase filings are here, though I haven’t looked closely.
