Has anyone been getting emails on this new Free presentation. Has this come around before. Just another long winded advertisement for you to spend $3000/yr on another Investment Letter?
I’m new to Stock Gumshoe, like the articles and insight so far. Glad it showed up on a search I did a few weeks ago.

This is the body of the email I received. Want you to register for the free presentation

The Breakout Profit Code

How to Make $7 of Profits for Every $1 of Risk

During this ground-breaking FREE presentation, J.C. Parets will reveal a powerful new way of trading that allows you to completely ignore all the market “noise” that distracts investors from profiting from powerful stock breakouts.

Even better, J.C. will demonstrate exactly how he used this strategy to capture 2,379% cumulative profits over an 18-month period and he’ll show YOU how to use it to turn every $1,000 investment into as much as $7,800!

J.C. spent years working to bring major Wall Street clients raw data as a research analyst. But now he’s retuned his system so he can share his research with folks just like you. His powerful 7X Cipher will help him decode, for you, which stocks are ready to break out higher…and which are going nowhere fast.

If you’d like details on investing J.C.’s way—where every single time you have the chance to make $7 in profits for every $1 of risk—you simply must sign up for this exclusive live presentation.

Has anyone gotten this before? If so, any idea what this could be.

    Technical analysis sales pitch.

I’m a subscriber. It is heavily based on technical analysis. Stock recommendations with price targets and stop losses. The newsletter is only a few months old, so hard to tell on the performance of the recommendations for now.

I have seen it but it seems like another supposed expert blowing smoke up my butt. These newsletters don’t give me a good feeling about any of them. They have these videos that seem like they are never going to end saying the same thing over and over again. Some come across as trying to look like professional scammers. I haven’t found a newsletter yet that will give you the truth. Why don’t they give one stock that they recommend and we can invest in it and if it comes to be a winning stock I might buy the newsletter. I have never bought a car without driving it first to see if it is worth the money they are asking for or I want buy it. These newsletters keep getting more and more expensive and some have started saying you cant get a refund if if turns a out to be a piece of trash. I have never signed anything agreeing to that just used my credit card, that just seems like they really have no leg to stand on if you really wanted your money back and told them you were going to get legal counsel to see if they can do this without any agreement between us. I don’t no the answer to that question but may have to look into it and push back on some of these newsletters that promise the impossible but will take your money?

    Any comments?

I somehow got routed to this discussion when looking at another and thought I would add a + for JC. I’ve been subscribed for three years to his newsletter All Star Charts. He has been nothing short of amazing but it is heavy technical analysis. You will never hear fundamental analysis here. Latest call was to get cash heavy and start dabbling in shorts at end of Sept. He had been pounding the table to get and stay long ever since summer of ’16, while prior to that being neutral for the year. I am not subscribed to the option service but have heard it has done well, that is a newer service. A prior comment suggest he provide a winning pick. Just follow him on Twitter there have been plenty but they can be taken out of context because you are not seeing the full message. On there you can probably see posts that back my previous timing claims if you doubt this. I believe like most you can get a free trial and look at the backlog of letters as well. Totally agree most letters are not worth the paper, this one is.
