Market Hero/ Steven BrooksI’ve recently seen a few teaser webinars from Steven Brooks for his Market Hero trading service, through StonyBrook Securities. Mostly options trading. Cannot find any info on web re this Steven Brooks, other than YouTube videos. Seems there was another person with this name a few years ago who ran a scam. Is anyone familiar with this or able to offer insights or experiences? Thanks!

I also saw his ads and attended the webinar. Sounded interesting, but also could not find any reviews- either about his program or about him. One thing that concerns me is the “hard close”- buy now or you will not get this price ever again~

Basically, says to trade the SPY one day a week (Tuesday) for big returns – buy at the beginning for the session, sell at the end. Add Wed, Thurs for more. Also, First month of the quarter is best.
All that wisdom for $997.
Or – check the 2019 Stock Trader’s Almanac – page 143 – S&P Daily Performance – from 2000 to 2018 – Tuesday doesn’t appear all that much better than Wed, Thu, Fri. For the Dow, Tues does seem to beat the rest of the week for daily point change (page 70) – but the theory advanced here was for the S&P – not the Dow.
First month of the quarter (Average Monthly Changes by Quarter) is discussed on p 66 – for Dow, S&P, NASDAQ – for S&P – (1991-2018) 4th Quarter beats the rest.
I saw an introductory webinar and joined Market Hero, I like the program it is geared toward Options trading and he does a ton of research. If you like trading options on indices and big name stocks, this may be a good service for you.
Steven is actually a really nice guy, and has a great website, with good information on there. His focus is on managing WINNERS i.e. taking them off for a profit, and NOT the “let you winners run and cut your losses quickly”. This seems to work very well for his trading style, and he does win 85-90% of his trades. You will NOT get rich quick – his style is “stay small, and get rich slowly” but it is a great community (FB site), and for only $995 for lifetime membership with NO upselling it is actually very refreshing.
I give him a major thumbs up compared to a lot of other junk out there, and if I just took all his trades without questioning any of them, I would be a lot better off financially.
P.S. In case anyone asks, no, I did not get asked to write a testimonial, and I am not getting rewarded by him for this 🙂
he’s an out and out scam
I’ve been a member of his program for over a year now and I consider it a top program. Very few “guru’s” actually follow through with what they say they are going to do. He actually does live training every week, hes incredibly responsive over email, he does send all of his trades and follows up on all of them, and he does only charge one fee like he said.
he charges one fee because he knows nobody will stay for longer than a month.
his “training” is just nonsense. nonsense like trade the santa clause rally and first weeks of the quarter. statistically proven to not work anymore. used to long ago but not anymore.
He is just a good marketer I’ll give him that. A good trader he ain’t.
I joined the Market Hero trading program last week and attended my first live training with Steven last night. I was frankly surprised to see it was actually him doing the training as most other trainers say that but then do not attend and someone on their team does it for them. The training was on trading automation and I thought it was the most beneficial 30 minutes of my trading career. That training alone was worth the price of admission. He also said that next week we will be going over how to use his morning game plan which is very exciting for me.
I joined the program in July 2019. Within 30 minutes I email them back and stated that I did not wish to continue in the program . They refused to cancel the credit charge. I protested the charge with my credit card company to get the charge reversed. I did not watch any of their videos nor did I attend any of their workshops. In their rebuttal to my credit card company they stated I had watched all of their videos and attend two of their live workshops. I could not believe that they would make these claims and they were totally fabricated and somehow they created time stamps with my email address on them. I cannot believe the dishonesty of this organization.

I NEVER write reviews good or bad online for anything, however in this case, I will make an exception.
I have never met someone to dedicated to their craft and program as Steven Brooks. There has to be no way that he even sleeps. He is always answering my emails and questions in a very short amount of time. While his methods are not the most simple in the world, we does hold you hand a lot of the time to teach you everything. I have recommended Market Hero to five of my friends as well.
I’ve been a member for about six months. When I joined I saw there were lots of in depth videos about strategies which was a little overwhelming honestly. I wasn’t as knowledgeable about investing anyway.
I am NOT going to become a pro trader, I don’t have the time or the desire to do so. What I like the most about market hero is the trade alerts — emails that literally tell you the stock to buy, at which price, and then when to sell it. It’s the closest thing to painting by numbers that exists, and it works. I think there have been two trades that didn’t profit for me. In an email Steven sent a couple weeks ago he said he was 90 winners and 5 losers on the year which is pretty nuts
There’s also a fairly active Facebook group with about 600 people, and weekly training (I don’t attend but I can clearly see there is constant training taking place). All in all very impressive
I’m kind of concerned about joining Market Hero after seeing comments about problems with refunds. I’ve attended a webinar and he did give trading strategies, something few webinars actually do but if it’s hard to get refunds I don’t know if I should try it.
I have been a member for about a year and I haven’t heard anyone having issues with refunds. In fact, I do know one person who tried five of his methods and got a refund from him. His policy was pretty clear and after knowing Steven and his team for a year my guess would be that folks just don’t follow his policy which again I think is more the fair. He’s over the top generous I asked him if my son could get a discount on membership to Market Hero and he gave my son an account for free.
he doesn’t process refunds. it’s in the policy. quite obviously you have not tried to get a refund so you won’t see any problems. nobody who tried to get refund got one.
The ones who had a problem with refunds did not even try the service. If you do not plan to give the service a fair try then don’t even waste time signing up just to take a quick look at things
i tried it and it’s junk. asked for refund. no go. they won’t process a refund.

I joined Market Heroes on August 1,2019. Steven has great training. . . very handson, and he does personally answer email questions very openly and quickly. I highly recommend Steven Brooks and Market heroes
it’s market hero not market heroes. if you are going to post fake reviews at least try to get the name right. you are probably somebody in India who Steven paid to do this…..and it’s “handsome” not “handson”

I’ve read all of your reviews to include those that said they had a problem with refunds. I’ve signed up for many programs in the past and I have yet to find one that really turns out to be that “diamond in the rough”. I want to believe this guy, but know that his main purpose is to sell memberships. Should I be concerned about Steven Brooks and his program? Are those of you commenting members of Stock Gumshoe? It looks like the vast majority of you leaving these positive reviews are guests, which gives me cause for concern as well…..look forward to hearing any feedback. Thanks.
I just joined Market Heroes. I’ve only been a member about 2 weeks but I’ve made money on 2 out of 3 trades from Steven Brooks and I haven’t closed out the third yet. He has added about 20 new trades in just the 2 weeks I’ve been here. I think besides the trades the best thing about Market Heroes is the interaction between members and the constant support and ideas that you get from Steven Brooks. He texts usually every day with encouragement , updates, and suggestions to help your trades. I haven’t been with it a long time but so far it’s the best training and tips I’ve gotten by far.
jimboo421, I didn’t login when I responded to your comment but I am a member of Stock Gumshoe , I haven’t been a member a long time but I’ve tried several different newsletters and other trade sites and Market Hero does feel like it’s the real deal. I’m even getting my son involved in Market Hero, he doesn’t have a lot of money but he’s seen the videos and he’s pumped. Like I said I have made money and It’s the first site and membership that I can say that about.
Doc you must be working for Steven Brooks. Confirmed. Steven Brooks’ programs are all marketing with nothing to back them up. I made mistake of signing up.
95% losers. When you confront him with that he does not seem surprised at all. But you are already locked in for the program with no refund option.

Look under Travis’ Newletters…there are Newsletter Rankings and Teaser Tracking….You can develop a trading strategy around these.
Joined last night….the website had nothing but cancellation terms on it. And the icon for Market Hero. No access to anything. Requested to join the facebook group last night, but as of today 4pm eastern time, I have not been allowed in the group, the web page is useless and support via email is not answering. I believe there is an error and it will be corrected, but very disconcerting when you invest that much $ in a program and nothing is working. Will update with final outcome.

I am loving this service. One of the things that was important to me before joining was the ability to ask Steven questions whenever I needed help. He has followed through on that. Not only is Steven far more responsive than I expected, but his strategies do work. I am close to making my money back and it’s only been a few weeks.
I have been a member of Market Hero for a few months now and am pleased to write on this forum that I have almost doubled my account. I was very hesitant to join the program during Steven’s webinar because I have been burned in the past by so many gurus but I am thrilled with my success so far. I recommend it to any trader who wants more consistency in their trading.
Market Hero, in my opinion, is the best trading program out there. Normally I do not write reviews, good or bad, but my experience with Market Hero has been so far beyond any other program that I have ever had before I simply had to come on here and sing their praise. Very simple yet excellent content. Very good weekly coaching from Steven. Very good and speedy customer support. Everything that you would expect a program to have, but these guys actually deliver on it!
How much did you get paid to post these lies?
I see a lot of comments here about how nice a guy he is and how people like the program etc. All well and good, but there is really one ‘elephant in the room’ question — do any of the methods he teaches provide an edge by which a trader can consistently make money if he trades correctly? Is there an objective, rules-based method where a trader knows exactly what he should be doing. And if he does exactly what he should be doing, is there a positive expectancy?
rdhoo1, I joined Market Hero about 4 months ago. I started with a very small account ( under $500 ) and followed the trades that Steven Brooks sent out and followed the lessons they give. I did about 10 trades that were sent and except for 1 trade that I got into late I’ve made at least 50% profit on each trade and usually more. My account is now over $4000. That’s probably not much compared to others but it’s the first program I’ve been in where I have made money consistently just about every week. When there are trades that start going wrong Steven always sends updates and methods to correct them to turn them into winning trades. I have no vested interest in Market Hero other than the group has made me money on a regular basis. I am usually the most skeptical person in the world but this group IS the real deal.
Market hero is a joke. It basically says nonsense like trade the first day of quarters and the christmas rallies that are supposed to be happening every year.
It’s old stuff that has been long discredited. Once worked – no more. just like moving averages.
His systems are juvenile. If you think you can beat the market with simple nonsense like this I’d like to sell you something too 🙂
I don’t normally post my thoughts, but reading Gumshoe reviews before I click enroll has saved me lots of $$, so I feel I owe it to the community to comment. Yes, Steven Brooks Market Hero trading service is the “real deal” we all look for. He runs a no nonsense education & trading community that makes money. In the 6 months I have been a member, he has added more step-by-step How-To trade technique videos than I can keep up with. His option trades have been >90% profitable for me. His low life-Time price scared me off at first, but is NOT an doorway into “up-sell hell” as many other trade services I had wasted money on before finding Market Hero.
I am member and his options trades are not >90%. At best 10-15%. Anybody who tells you a system is 90% is a red flag right away.
If he was 90% profitable he wouldn’t need to sell a service. He would be hired by the biggest hedge funds and paid a gazillion dollar mgmt fee.
He would be bigger than Buffet and Soros combined.
Please stop with this already. It’s getting tiring to see all the Market hero shills on this forum.
