The “Pfizer of Weed?!?

Another day, another email from Outsider Club[1]. This one trumpets the ”Pfizer of Weed”, which offers 10X returns. I wonder which stock it is. Because of the online miracle known as Stock Gumshoe, I figure Travis and the Thinkolator can tease this one out, and save us Irregulars and patsies a whole lot of money subscribing to services making dubious claims. There is one thing the Outsider Club is right about, it is their tagline, ”Because you’ll never be on the inside”.

Haven’t seen the Outsider Pump, but PYX stock caught some volume last week like someone was pumping it. Maybe its the pfizer of pot. Seems like the CGC, CRON, NBEV, TLRY were falling out of favor.. But CGC is the big dog or doobie…but just based on timing I’d look at PYX to see if it match the description of the Outsider Club.

Though the pharmaceutical angle could point to “sleeper of the category” MPX Bio.
GW Pharma is not undervalued at the moment so 10x seems unlikely.
yeah suppose you’re probably right. Then we should probably add CRBP to the list of possible pharma type pot stocks.

That’s one of Jimmy Mengel’s recent teases, most of it is a rehash of previous pitches but that new addition of the “Pfizer of Weed” is almost certainly Emblem Corp (EMC.V, EMMBF)… the “hook” to the story is that one of the folks behind OxyContin is an executive (and major investor) in Emblem, pushing the “marijuana is better than opioids” pain story. Still quite small compared to the “hot” names in marijuana, but, of course, very small revenues as well. Don’t know much else about them at this point, but perhaps I’ll dig into it in a future article. Mengel did tease Emblem about a year and a half ago as well.
