written by reader What companies are most likely to benefit from 5G technology?

By backoffice, February 28, 2019

I understand Verizon has a huge benefit, along with NOK,Eric, Crown Cork and a few others. I understand software, entertainment, and auto’s especially electric because of the greater number of components used opposed to gas auto’s and Diesel has not been a real seller. You do you think are the best bets for 5G at this time? Thanks Travis.

5g doesn’t have anything to do with auto electrification (though it will arguably help advanced self-driving cars), and will probably take a decade to really get fully developed, but I expect it to be a major investment trend for quite some time. Huge numbers of companies involved, but the ones that I’m currently invested in primarily because of the 5G installation/investment backdrop are Nokia, Qualcomm, Crown Castle, Ericsson and Zayo, with 5G being part of the rationale also for Coresite and Arista Networks and, yes, Apple.
