written by reader CRA – May pick? — The Air Cuff

Curzio Research[1] Advisory still e-mails me cover letters for their picks, where they don’t disclose their picks. Last month, I think it had to be KSS. I can’t tell for sure because I’ve been locked out of the system since I refused to pay his $35 ”maintenance” fee on my ”lifetime membership” a couple of years ago.

The latest email was sent yesterday after the close and here are this months hints and my guess.

This months cover letter states:
“A tiny, virtually unknown company has created a breakthrough device that will significantly reduce fatal police encounters. “
He calls it the “air cuff”
Thats all I know, and I found Wrap Technologies (WRTC) which is actually pretty cool. Check out the Bolawrap Videos on youtube to see how the product works.

Frank usually DOES NOT do speculative picks like WRTC in the CRA letter, so THIS MAY NOT BE HIS PICK!!! It is essentially a start-up

per their March 2019 10Q:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1702924/000165495419005264/wrap10q_mar312019.htm#item2[2] :::

“During 2018, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted the first four U.S. patents on our BolaWrap remote restraint device and technology. In September 2018, we commenced filing our first foreign patent applications, targeting the European Union (17 countries) and 17 other countries. We currently have nine U.S. patents and 19 foreign patents pending. We have additional patents being drafted as part of our strategy to protect our innovations in the U.S. and in targeted countries internationally.”

“Over 40 law enforcement agencies took delivery of the BolaWrap 100 devices during 2018 and an additional 20 in the first quarter of 2019. We have delivered over 300 devices at no cost to agencies for evaluation and feedback and sold a limited number of small orders as we establish volume production. We are making product updates as a result of initial feedback, and in October 2018 announced a patent pending green line laser accessory.”

Warning – Wrap Technologies website has a bad certificate so I’ve not looked at their website.

  1. Haven’t seen that ad, please forward it along if you have a copy (to ILoveStockSpam@gmail.com)… Frank was a private placement shareholder of Wrap Technologies according to their SEC filings late last year, so it might have been a stock he featured for his more expensive advisory (where he sometimes does private placement recommendations), and maybe he lets some of those “high priced” ideas filter through to his lower priced newsletter eventually, I don’t know.

    I haven’t looked into the actual financials, though it has come up in questions once or twice in the past.
