I searched everywhere for some reason that IIPR would drop 10% today. Nothing!
In one TV interview , it was called overpriced despite being in a class of its own. Caveat was it might not sustain this higher level, so realize that one must keep an eye on it.
Glad you shared your thoughts early today. I put my stop in at 88, but as a true follower of your brilliance, I will change to .85

Hi Travis, what gives you confidence on Nokia that the current operating levels are a sustainable base, as opposed to already reflecting high telecom spend which will later decline? Cable capital intensity for example is steadily falling, and why wouldn’t telecom follow after the 5G buildout? In that scenario, wouldn’t this just be a temporary spike in Nokia earnings, followed by declines below the current level? That was the pattern for Lucent (now part of Nokia).

You mentioned KEYS but no comment. I noted a week or so ago you commented on them and indicated you didn’t expect a correction at this time….I did and I think we are still in the middle of it. It’s an ABC wave and we are in my estimation at the B point and should turn down in third wave of about same size as the A wave which was 7 points down. That would look for a bottom in the area of 90 before a turn for new highs. Just my old mans Elliott Wave analysis. I’m closed a long position in calls when it crossed above 100 + area when I had a ~3.5 timer or 250% profit from 6/21 entry. I had thought at time to not get greedy and got lucky that I did. I am currently tracking for a new entry point to see if we can get a repeat performance as we get closer to 5G action. We shall see if it’s going to happen. I have similar position in NOK and have been averaging down and hoping we get a good/encouraging quarterly report. That is a Dec position so the 3q report is decision time on whether to roll it forward into next year yet. I thought I nailed it on initial entry in December but the breakout flipped over and this looks like a megaphone/triangle of some sort that just never gathers enough believers…… Sorry got to rambling while waiting to see if they took market back to positive for the week.

What are your thoughts on MGM? With China economy slowing down, I am thinking it will at least affect gambling in Macau.

I did buy a fair position on Charlotte’s Web. But I too have a conservative bent to my trading. This last drop we just experienced with Charlotte’s Web I sold above my buy price. So that’s fair. But I have gone to buying only stocks that pay dividends. I bought some of the larger Oil and Gas co’s. They pay a fair dividend and with he coming 2020 scenario with the political turmoil present I choose hopefully a safer route for now.

A guy by the name of Teeka Tiwari told his followers to sell all their pot stocks now! this was the day that a lot of the stocks that had been purchased by US buyers sold off. These are listed on the CSE. The reason given was that on Sept 1 the fed was going to do a trial legalisation in 10 States. He had discovered 3 US POT stocks that were listed on the CSE that were going to make investors millionaires and these other POT stocks would probably only go up another 20%. It would cost you 19995 to get these 3 new Pot stocks

    Thanks Travis! Neet work!
I am surprised none of the newsletters are teasing $DELL. With their VMware spinoff possibility there might be lots of value locked in. Any thoughts on thus?

Travis, I just saw the first of Verizon’s 5G “smart poles” in Houston. This link from fiercewireless.com shows the same poles in Denver.

    https://www.fiercewireless.com/5g/verizon-installs-5g-denver-special-smart-poles

Knowing some of the technical aspects of the 5G system makes me curious about how many sites the 5G providers will need to lease from the tower companies (like AMT & CCI). In more urban areas tower and, especially, rooftop space will need to be leased but in suburban areas these poles will be deployed as the solve one of the biggest hurdles for towers in that environment, NIMBY – Not In My Back Yard.

IIPR – you noted adding to your position…but the stock took another hit and is at your stop/loss…. I assume do to the rumor mill around the government reviewing the funding regulations/banking etc…. Any additional thoughts or changes on the entire subject? thanks
