I’m aware of that but I meant like which newsletter’s teases have done the best and consitinty done good.
I feel like the teaser tracker does a pretty good job of answering that question. I didn’t count but it looks like teasers UNDERPERFORM the market by a ration of about 3:1 over time. That should give you your answer? But you can also sort that list by who did the teasing and see if someone has been consistently strong. But as Bunion points out below, the teasers are not always the strongest picks in a newsletter, they just make good copy. Also the teasers don’t say when the author said to sell as well. There are newsletter rankings on this site as well, if you are looking for a news letter. But probably no one on here subscribes to more than a few newsletters, so comparing isn’t easy.
Short answer: there is no “best” newsletter based on teases sleuthed on this site.
As you stick around long enough and read through Travis’ analyses, you will realize that, more often than not, the teased stocks are pure hype written to lure unsuspecting retail investors like us into buying stocks that are overpriced relative to their weak fundamentals, if not simply duds. The more the tease is drowning in hyperbole, the more the stock should be AVOIDED. This is why it is common to find people here expressing gratitude for being spared the costly amount of newsletters just to get the names of these stocks.
Note, however, that my rather cynical observation is limited to the teased ads and not reflective of newsletters in general. Again as you skim through the articles and people’s comments that follow, you will find both favorable and unfavorable assessments of specific newsletters as a whole — i.e. regardless of what is being teased at the moment. Therefore, it is best to track such commentaries on your own to determine which newsletter is “best”.
