was about to make a major announcement in the morning that would cause the stock to take-off. The only thing I had
to do was buy into a $2,000 pitch and after I didn’t bite, within the hour I received an e-mail asking to call a number and speak to
someone before the deal expired. The next morning’s opening came and there was no announcement and no future information from Mr. Bezos.

I believe you’re referring to Jeff BROWN (not Bezos) who I suspect is leaving a bad taste in the mouth right now for some Gumshoers, including myself. There’s a whole discussion on EDITAS and other gene-editing stocks on this site. Bottom line is: there’s no hurry to get in early on any individual stock in this niche because tests are not yet being performed on humans. I’m content with just getting the ETF for now because I find the science fascinating. A major breakthrough in any of the individual stocks will show up in the ETF and cause a sympathy rise in price for the rest.
Hi I’ve had good service from jeff brown his 5g picks have been good so far , I had one 200% winner from his early stage newsletter inside of 4 months (thor) . I dont believe the hard selling is jeff brown’s fault, that lies at the door of palm beach , doug casey and Bonner partners, in my opinion they are shocking hard sell, dont care money grabbers .
I assume you mean Jeff Brown, no? Not Jeff Bezos (of Amazon)?
Brown has indeed been touting Editas for a long time, though the “catalyst” pitches from Brown are more about trying to urge folks to sign up quickly for his newsletter, I expect, than they are about real story-changing events. CRISPR is an interesting area of science, but, like much science, it moves a lot more slowly and unpredictably than investment speculators would like.
