MOTLEY FOOL FAZER STOCKS

By magna3825, February 29, 2020

Hello, any idea what the 5 FAZER stocks, pitched by the motley fool this week, are?

F — the just-$2B market cap edge computing pioneer that enables internet data to travel between different countries — and even continents — at warp speed.
A — at only $4B in market cap, their revolutionary software platform is singlehandedly replacing the concept of the in-house ”tech team.”
Z — the radical video technology company changing the way society will communicate in the future.
E — the ”next Google” that’s redefining the concept of search functionality as we know it, but at 175 times smaller than the current size of Google.
R — the silent king of streaming media that has set itself up perfectly to dominate tomorrow’s entertainment industry.

Thanks in advance.

F is most likely, Fastly. Anyone have a handle on the E? Appian, Roku and Zoom are correct.

Z is most likely Zoom Communications. I haven’t really had time to look into many others.

Thinking about it…because I do own it…A might be Appian. When the article was made, they might have been a 4B market cap. They are currently sitting at 3B MC but after the huge week of selloffs, they have, like a lot of companies, taken a big hit.

(FSLY) – operates an edge cloud platform for processing, serving, and securing its customer’s applications. The edge cloud is a category of Infrastructure as a Service that enables developers to build, secure, and deliver digital experiences at the edge of the Internet. It is a programmable platform designed for Web and application delivery.
Appian (APPN) allows easy creation of apps without super nerds. Market Cap $3.8B
Zoom (ZM) – cloud based video conferencing service being quickly adapted by business. Popped nice during coronavirus panic because everyone figured we would be flying to meetings less.
Elastic – (ESTC) – a search company, delivers technology that enables users to search through structured and unstructured data for a range of consumer and enterprise applications
Roku (ROKU): provides stream video to your TV. The make money on adds and the get a commission for every sign-up to Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc if you buy it through their box.

You want ZM and not ZOOM. The later is a Chinese company that hasn’t made its regulatory filings in four to five years.
