Has anyone seen the tease about the machine that can stop the coronavirus from Nick Hodge’s Early Advantage?
The image of the device in the email is identical to a new detection device from LexaGene Holdings (LXXG.F). Did anyone else find the same?
Hodge’s text includes the following:
”And this machine is the solution we so desperately need:
It detects viruses: Ebola, SARS, swine flu…
It detects bacteria: E. coli, listeria, staph…
Threat of outbreaks could send this machine’s $1 shares to $20 or more in the weeks ahead
In short, this machine is about to take over the $40 billion disease detection market.”

That’s almost entirely just opportunistic marketing, I expect — they touted Lexagene similarly back in 2017 (https://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/alternative-energy-speculator/hodges-new-fda-mandate-sends-this-device-into-every-restaurant-in-america/) because it was the “only play” on new FDA food safety testing rules. There will be a lot more testing for coronavirus, but it won’t be because every office buys its own testing machine like this. They’re still in beta testing and haven’t even selected a manufacturer yet, so there might be some eventual potential but I certainly wouldn’t buy it for coronavirus reasons… it’s going to be a long time before they make an impact on the diagnostics market, if they ever do, there’s a lot of money and a lot of established scale in that market that will be hard to unseat.
