Dollar General (DG) & Sprouts Farmers Market (SFM)

These are my two buys for today. DG & SFM – Favoring the DG. Been on a motorcycle ride daily the last month, averaging 200 miles per day on rural roads. Every DG is PACKED so I’m hoping there is a bit of upside to both of them. I live near Orange Beach, Alabama and am not that Familiar with SFM but based on data not a bad buy at the current price. I own DG stock and I rent rooms. A new room renter is a Manager at a DG Store and he’s telling me his sales have increased since this Pandemic started about 270%. I ask what he thinks has contributed to this big increase. He said, in his opinion, it’s because, other Store Majors are limiting the number of customers going into each store at a time so, his new customers are avoiding lines. It could be that simple. Possibly, not good for the spread of the Virus but, the convenience to his Store is to his customers liking and, is bringing in new customers. DG Stores in my area have 6 foot floor separation markings for customer spacing at check out registers.
