The speakers always seem so likable, until they ask you for a couple thousand dollars. I sat through Matt McCalls “4 weeks to 4 million” speech. I wrote off ALT coins before then, but what he was saying sound like it is pretty logical, that is, certain ALT coins mimicking the rise of regular crypto coins except having much higher gains. He showed about a half dozen examples. If I had the $2K he was asking for probably would have paid it. If you or anyone gets any tipoffs to what his top ten ALT coins are before Bitcoins splits in a couple weeks would be awesome.
I agree John. I saw the presentation as well. You can tell Matt is a good guy wanting to help us make
money but in order for HIM to make money, he has to sell information. His show price was around $1495 and you do get the usual bundle of reports and services. I was one click from doing it.
I don’t know the alt coins he recommends. Seems him, Weiss, and Teeka all have the in on which
alt coins are going to take off. But you gotta pay!
You can buy some bitcoin this week and see it double certainly by years end but boy or boy or boy…
put the same money on the right alt coin …..OMG!

OK..for what it is worth. Matt McCall just sent an email saying one of his recommended alt coins
is now available on a major exchange owned by the Winklevoss brothers and is selling for under
a $1! Through google, I found out that the exchange is Gemini and the new crypto is Orchid OXT.
I bought $100 worth of OXT at .18 a token on Coinbase. About 522 tokens.
Please do you r own research on OXT. The Gemini exchange supports about a dozen other under a dollar cryptos. Thanks.

It could also be BAT (Basic attention token) because it’s also quoted at 0.18 $ <1 $
but the 2 projects seem promising, with a great preference for me for BAT.

also emailed about a coin selling for under $4 and I think he was referring to Chainlink. That was also
a Teeka recommendation.

He sent out another email today with yet another teaser. It says Google is now partnering with a crypto that is currently worth $4. Oh, and he added this PS: “I just recently added four new cryptocurrencies to my model portfolio. To learn how to discover all their names and ticker symbols, click here.” Question: Ticker symbols? Can anyone explain why he’s talking about investing in crypto on the stock market? I thought all of the altcoins he is hyping are ones he is recommending to actually purchase.
I think ticker should have been in quotes and he only meant it figuratively. Cryptos
do have a “ticker” symbol when buying then on an exchange.
Also, Google has partnered with Chainlink (LINK) and it is trading just under $4.
Thanks, Steven. I just saw that myself, after some googling and looking at prices. The thing that still doesn’t quite fit for me is that this partnership was announced in June 2019, so why would he be touting it as new?
I don’t know. Maybe some things take time to get going and remain “new”
for months.
I feel like they regularly present things as “new”, but when doing my own research the news appears to be several months up to a year old. It has definitely got me doubting their services.

Also if you have not noticed the Bitcoin (BTC) – and with it moves the others. Bitcoin is going through the “Halving’ May 12th (https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/ ; https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-halving-explainer) Basically the previous two halving made major increase in the price, this one is supposed to be minor change.
But BTC went from $7k to $9k in the last week. So my guess is the new price may already be ‘marked up’. But rumors of going to $10k.
Newer Coins that may take off are: LINK, KNC (and BAT would be another more geared toward ads). If it helps you can buy coins then move to the exchanges like yobit.net to see newer ones or exchange. I used to get free one coins on yobit. But I do my purchases on coinbase.com (NOTE: Fees) or robinhood for a few (but I believe no fees just check to confirm)
I’d pay $500. The $1500 -$1700 price is outlandish in this economy. No shorter trial period and no refunds.
The alt coin that is partnering with Google is Chainlink. That is also one of the altcoins in the Investorplace link that one of you so kindly shared. These might not be the ones that are in Matt’s portfolio, but those seven are:

Zcash (ZEC)
Ripple (XEC)
Basic Attention Token (BAT)
Chainlink (LINK)
Synthetix Network Token (SNX)
DxChain Token (DX)
I subscribed to Coinbase exchange to buy crypto and since have researched a lot and Coinbase has a very high integrity rating. My my assessment, they List all Crypto’s they will allow you to Buy, Sell or Trade and only after they have vetted crypto’s that are legit. So if it’s not available in Coinbase, I’m Leary. They add crypto as they vet new ones.
Anyone know the new Alt coin that Matt is selling as the next big one. Can’t spend anymore money on the newsletters as I won’t have any left to invest. Most of his recent recommendation in the crypto world didn’t help me to date. Still would put a small amount in his next pick if I can find out what it is. Thanks. Cryptocurrencies have 3 large obstacles beside the usual pump/dump, difficulty of use, and theft issues.
1. Facebook Libra- everyone is already on FB so Libra just natural extension
2. Peoples Republic of China coming out with a state cryptocurrency and I imagine anyone doing business with Chinese government or companies will be required to use it. China as well as many other nations (most importantly oil producing) has always wanted to replace the USD as international standard
3. Bank of England is also planning on issuing a state cryptocurrency.
Tether / USDT is the most widely used crypto in china even after the state crypto roll out
