Paul Mampilly’s 100x dealI listened to a sales pitch last night for over 1 hour that was geared to Paul Mampilly’s Banyan Hill suckers and was waiting for the 3 stocks that would pay returns of at least 100x or better ,
what I got at the end was an opportunity to sign up for the service for $10,000 for life. With that you would get at least 1 tip a month at minimum and pay a yearly fee for maintainence. The time frame for these returns could be anywhere from 1 year to 8 or 9 years, He gave some insight into the 3 picks he was talking about but no ticker symbols. They are all micro-caps and 1 had a patent for blood testing without the need of collecting blood without a needle. Did anyone else catch this pitch or have any idea of who it may be? I’m really enjoying this chat room with like minded individuals but recognise I’m a small fish in terms of my portfolio value so tend not to get too excited about promises of huge gains because of my budget. Me too, for years I thought just another newsletter huckster, but he’s put me in the money. I don’t know if its truly ‘wisdom” or he has so many people looking at the recommendations its a self fulfillng prophecy. I guarantee hedge funds and momentum day traders are also newsletter subscribers and also reddit readers knowing the mere rec of a stock is going to start trading. Was reading WSJ and turns out the groups that the reddit revolution was revolting against actually made a killing.
I think by the time recommends appear on reddit Joe Public has already missed the bus, the only way is down. One or two big gainers make the headlines but there were probably tens of thousands punters being manipulated by big players who got their fingers burned and are never publicised.

How to make good profits
Hello all, I thought that I would give my own perspective on the Banyan Hill products to add to the discussion primarily for those who may not subscribe. I was a mix between and investor and a trader always trying to make fast profits looking for tips on free articles and unfortunately Twitter. The lesson that I learned is that you really need to be first in buying a stock. I realized that Twitter especially is pump and dump or FOMO. I had a few wins but also had a fair amount of losses. I then found BH and watched a presentation of PU. I was skeptical at first but thought for $49 it was worth it to get some guidance. Slowly the value of the stocks that I held started to rise, by more than I had achieved on my own. Initially I continued to swap and change the stocks that I had but did miss out on some rises after selling. My portfolio now consists mainly of PU recommendations of which some have achieved 300% and even 400% rises. I have also stocks in EF and some of the recommendations shared here from the 100x. I plan to sit back and watch the rises and not to worry about the dips. I can 100% confirm that its less stressful and gives me more time. I would recommend to anybody to subscribe to at least PU. Thank you to everyone who shares the latest recommendations.
is PU a case of buy and hold long term? like what MF is advocating, or is it a case of Buy and wait for sell signal down the line?

PRLB has earnings tomorrow and it has dipped a bit today. Should this be taken as a buying opportunity? Anyone has any comments or feedback?
All 3D stocks are a little down today. My personal take on this: As per PM, this has 55,000% potential…so a mere 10-15% up/down on entry should not make any difference 🙂
So PRLB reports better than expected and drops nearly 5%. I bought a few more to average down.

@robby This is a tangent on my part regarding the human bastardization of numbers. According to humans, a 100% gain doubles your money, when in fact, 100% should not gain your money at all, but simply be “whole”, reflecting no change. If the numbers spoke for themselves, they would indicate a doubling would be 200%.
So, to answer your question in human terms, a 55,000% would be 551x.
100% gain means yield or gain is equivalent to your capital. So 100% gain doubles your money. 100% of the investment is not equivalent to 100% gain on the investment.

Saw this on market watch Colorado-based Urban-gro, which makes commercial controlled environment agriculture facilities, said late Thursday that its public offering of 5.4 million shares price at $10 a share, but the stock had closed Thursday at $47.00. The stock had pulled back 37.3% over the past four sessions, following a 476.9% rocket ride higher on Feb. 5. In a filing on Wednesday, the company noted that the stock had “recently experienced extreme price volatility,” but said that it had not experienced any material change in its financial condition or business that would explain the volatility.

To clarify, as I think I did in my original post, UGRO is not a PM rec.
UGRO was a stock moving from OTC to NASDAQ when I originally posted. They were also doing a secondary offering simultaneously. This was delayed do you an some sort of an amendment to the SEC filing that somehow relates to their tangential connection to marijuana. The secondary and move to NASDAQ just happened, with an offering price of $10.00 that set last night.
I’ve not seen this play out like this before, but people ran the stock up in the OTC incredibly in anticipation of this move to the NASDAQ. Somewhat irrationally considering the knowledge the secondary would be around 10. I’m assume the pot crowd did this.
I was not, am not, pushing UGRO, just thought it interesting, I like the concept and was — did, get in on the secondary.

For expectations, although there were 17 recs from 4/14/20 to 12/31/20, averaging just about 2 per month, PM says that the expectation should be about 1 a month.
Also, hold times will be years, not months. We’re not going to get to 100x in months.
I suspect sells will come if we see unexpected things, like the technology or other uniqueness of these companies being overtaken somehow, or perhaps if we see mergers or buyouts. Until then…
So far there have been three recs this year, so he’s initially at last years pace, but that just might mean a longer time between recs for the rest of the year.
For those of you itchy to do something, remember a Warren Buffett adage, that went something like, “The thing investors do the most of it wait.”
And if you want to act anyway, some of these have options available. RISKY, as they are volatile too, and they don’t move like other options with much greater interest. I’m doing a few, more as part of my overall strategy, not like the short-term strategy of quick flips that options usually are used for (by me).

I like him a lot but definitely he is unclear when it comes to selling a stock which becomes extremely important during market downturns. ReWalk Robotics (NASDAQ:RWLK) is a 100X recommendation. It is probably a good play based only on the medical aspects of the technology, and it is gaining regulatory body approval in several countries, including the United States.
Personally I have always felt that the cost, and reluctance of government run insurance to approve very expensive technologies would severely limit the upside. However, I see the potential military and industrial possibilities to be extremely exciting.

Just on your concern about cost as it applies to insurance and not investing in this tech for people, I work in this field as an attorney for over twenty years. Yes, government is slow to adopt change, however, this is changing. It’s long been recognized in US law that empowering the individual saves money in the long-run. It does have short-term costs, and the organizations (like schools and insurance programs) that have to bear those costs are very resistant. However, over time the resistance gets worn down as results are seen.
And, tech improves and the costs come down.
Example: Years ago there was this device called a DINAVOX, basically an heavy electronic device with pictures to point to, and it would say the word — of course for people who were mute. It ran about $2500. We’d have to fight with Medicaid to pay for it. But once these users could express their needs, ask for things in the grocery store, etc. they needed fewer service hours saving huge money. And then tech improved and many can now do even more of the same with a program on an iPad.
Now the paraplegic who can get out, operate his car, etc.? Imagine the man-power ours saved each year, multiplied over a lifetime. Not to mention quality of life issues.
And lastly, calculate getting some of these people back into the workforce!
RWLK is going to be a performer. I see the risk as competition, and better tech, perhaps through implanted devices.

Is there anyone with buyers remorse with 100x ? 10 grand an another grand per year….
I have all the services, including 100x. I do not have buyer’s remorse. In fact, I am more in for 2021 than I was in 2020.
That being said, it is very pricy for a stock recommendation service, we only have about a 10 month track record, and 2020 and probably 2021 are going to be tumultuous. A pullback has to happen, and how will 100x react?
Whether it’s worth it depends on your investment goals and risk tolerance — and your available assets. If you don’t have a lot on the table, probably not an option. $10k is a big sticker price if you are just getting started.
I did not want to pay for it, but I’ve had such success with PM, I got it thinking, hey, if he hits one, it’s more than paid for itself. Right now if I cashed out of 100x I’d have profits of 30x what the service cost — after 10 months. So, …
Also, I planned on this being a small part of my portfolio. The success made me take larger positions, and that and the growth have made it a big part of my portfolio. Can we please keep this thread (not a “forum”) to PM’s picks? Discussing all things PM instead of just 100x makes sense and I hope we keep this up, but adding other services’ offers makes it harder to follow and focus on PM’s suggestions.
Yes, this thread has gotten hard to follow. I would suggest another one that expressly only has new 100x trade alerts.
I agree, although I’ve been a violator.
I also agree. It’s becoming very confusing. After each alert, there seems to be 4 or 5 questions as to who recommended the stock, which service, when, etc. As it is, the spreadsheet has expanded so much, it is difficult to read with the small print.
Adding MF recommendations in this thread is too much. It needs to be a new thread.
I hope we still get EF alerts though. It would be unfortunate if not.
The best thing I can suggest is each service/newsletter have its own stock alerts only thread.

First time commenting since I’ve started following this thread, but I think a Discord server would be very useful in this case. It can be set up with different channels for each service so the recommendations stay organized.
I believe it’s best to stay here. email notifications work well and we can honour Travis’ platform and business instead of moving (most of the discussion) elsewhere.
That said, if people wanted to have an instant-chat option, I’d suggest to start a Telegram group instead of using Discord. Discord is such an unpleasant platform with major privacy issues.

I disagree. I and many others would have never found this thread or it’s recs if the conversation was in a discord chat. There is beauty in the simplicity this site and Travis is generous to give us the platform to keep this going.

Personally I think it would be helpful if comments were limited to PM services other than Profits Unlimited which most have and is very cheap and is the basic entry level service.. That way the thread would stay more focused and easier to follow. In my opinion it would be more helpful to deal with Motley Fool on a different thread.

There are so many email alerts on this strand (which I don’t want to miss – Kds & DD bring so much value) but it’s also getting a bit congested with dialogue and repeat questions.
Discord would also appropriate other recos from solid sources. I have solid micro cap stocks that I research and scrape from other outlets that have brought me nice gains that I can share but I didn’t know if people would want them here.
I’d also share the PM Options Rapid Profit/Rebound Profit Options with you guys too, but I didn’t want to get my hands slapped for deviating.

While this will likely result in share dilution, and at least a temporary price pullback, the continued ability to raise and deploy capital effectively is very bullish news to me.
I’m with you all the way on this analysis. Couple this growth with stories about the auto industry stopping production for periods of time do to the shortage of micro-chips. NNDM brings chips to production in 10 days, versus traditional chip makes that take about six months.
I think NNDM is going to be one that fulfills PM’s “promise” of creating generational wealth. I’m in heavy.
It’s my biggest holding at about 10-15%. I hate doing math, it’s amazing I can make a nickel in a number orientated business!
BUT DD, I was on Alpha, and boy they have a ton of guys and gals saying NNDMis a pump dump with no earnings. The numbers favor them, so I’m taking all my initial off the table, once it stops going up!!! LOL Any thoughts?
I trust Paul. I also trust that NNDM has had repeated share offerings that I can’t get a piece of through Think Equity, who is handling the offering and who I’ve got shares on other offerings a couple dozen times, because minimum orders are in the realm of $50 million. I don’t believe people plopping $50m share buys out are doing some sort of pump and dump.
Read up on their 3D chip printing tech.

Hey DD quick question. I signed up for PU but in the services I cannot see any weekly updates. Do you know where can I find them?
If you go to “Premium Services” tab on home page of Banyan Hill, scroll down to PU, click that on “View More Options” and then you will see “Updates.” PU does a weekly update video on Mondays. Today, because of holiday is this weeks. And you should get an email with the video link when new updates or alerts come out. Also, sign up there for text alerts.

The concern seems to be about the confusion with so many different subscription recommendations. Understandable. To avoid this, what about each time a person posts a recommendation (or comments on one) they begin with the name of the subscription and the date the recommendation was given (Date if it’s a new recommendation, not for comments). Sort of like a heading. If a person is not interested or finds it confusing they can skip over that post.

@moana1 For REFXF, I haven’t added it yet, but have it Limit-buy at 0.045 and exercising my patience 🙂 It swings 50% up and down on a regular basis. So putting just a little money there, seem too risky to me.
