I just watched the Enrique Abeyta pitch from Whitney Tilson’s site. Has anyone else watched or know his picks?

I read the transcript. It’s hard to know how much value will be in these recommendations. I do like the fact that he is a bit of an unconventional character and could come up with some new ideas that would work in this volatile market. I just watched his short-BUD pitch from May of 2018 and he was certainly correct on that call. In retrospect, it looks pretty obvious but the declined quite a bit. One “systematic” thing he seems to focus on is revisions to estimates – that drives his attention. The claim is he will be recommending just about 10 positions of what sound like pretty large stocks. He touts his pick of SPCE which worked out well but I am not sure how repeatable that is.
I should also add that they are trying to sell it now at a discount for $1,900 versus the $5,000 “list price.” These guys always seem to have some kind of time-limited offer going on. Plus there is no money-back guarantee. Why not? If they are so successful and so rich what would anyone want their money back or why would it concern them if they did? What they do offer is another year of the service for $25. Given all that I will pass on it in favor of continuing my own research and idea generation.
I watched it and of course, want to subscribe. Would be nice to get a group of 10 or so to to share.
Yes, they made it sound very tempting. If they kept their promises it would pay for itself. The big IF that applies to every other publisher hawling their wares as well!
Yeah bro, pool the cash, the thing is how
Is there any more insight into the Enrique Abeyta approach and services? Does Travis have any thoughts on whether this guy may be solid and good to follow? Thanks.
Haven’t covered any of his pitches yet, sorry. He’s a growth stock investor, so I expect he has probably had a great couple of years.
Thanks for your prompt response, Travis. Well, if one of these days you’re short on topics, it might be a good one to explore.
