Where’s the discussion about Magic Mushrooms? I’ve kind of researched the topic.
Have I posted that Pharma wants to profit? Now they have opened the door for legal use of all those (or maybe some) Psilocybin, LSD? Mushrooms seem to be helping people, as proven in controlled studies of MICRO DOSING. I’ve never micro-dosed, but not for lack of trying! Which brings me to the point of this post. IF you want to grow your own…DO NOT BUY A KIT, especially not from Mid West Grow. MWG is good about selling the gear, but there is NO follow through. The problem is that the SUBSTRATE that is in their jars in crud – useless, only discoverable 2 -3 months later! I needed will power to declutter my house! Now I must begin anew, DIY! Directions are available on the internet.
I’ve been anxious to invest in an IPO or three when this goes mainstream. It will be good for patients and good for investors.
I came across an article last wednesday from” Investing Whisperer” plugging a company called Champignon Brands SHRMF OTC listing. It sounded good so I bought a small stake. On friday they went up 12%. Today I got an “Investing Daily” video promo which I have not yet had time to watch, but it claims that some sort of legalisation is pending.
Apparently the new thing on magic mushrooms relates to their medicinal use to successfully treat some mental illnesses. Which sounds quite plausible to me.
It also reminds me of an anecdote from many years ago concerning a couple of grey nomads in northern NSW who went mushroom picking in a cow field. In that part of the world hallucinogenic Gold Top mushrooms grow in cow pats after rain. Anyway, the old couple mistook them for normal edible mushrooms and had a good meal of them.
They were subsequently taken to hospital by ambulance and during the journey were going “whee whee” and imploring the driver to go faster.
They recovered fully and were quoted as saying they really enjoyed the experience but probably would not do it again.
The official recorded medical diagnosis? – ” An overabundance of joy”.
Maybe there will be something worthwhile (and profitable) to come from this new development.
