Has anyone listened to the Motley Fool’s Cloud Disruptors 2020? I was wondering what that was all about. Two weeks ago, they were talking about the 5G stuff. I haven’t even had a chance to catch my breathe on that one. Any ideas what stocks they might be talking about this time?

Well it seems like awhile back they did one and gave out what they called the fazer stocks. Fastly Appian zoom estc and Roku. But this was a new tease and supposedly 5 new picks and 1 pick that is not in any of their other portfolios… as to the new picks I have no ideas
It would be so refreshing to see a new stock they have never mentioned before.
Ya motley fool I’ve found overall gives really good picks but a lot of overlap it seems..
It would be great if someone has the details could share, similar to last time!
Yes. That was good information.
@ Travis any insights on this ??
We need sal again lol.
Can anyone find Sal or Jeremy John?
Haven’t seen any recent ads that teased a particular new stock, if there’s something out there with any hints at all please let us know and we’ll investigate.
“7 out of 8 people are clueless about this” MF’s latest teaser maybe I missed this and you have already gone over it but the hints they gave about shark tank is something I had not heard recently any thoughts on it?
That Shark Tank reference is just an extremely old reference to “internet of things” in general, but I haven’t seen the latest Cloud Disruptors ad. Their IoT pitches in the past that come to mind were generally focused on NXPI, SWIR and SWKS, but all of that was many years ago.
I guess not much to report?..?
Yes @travis they just did a new cloud disruptors 2020 portfolio. 5 new trades and one new pick that they’ve never picked in any portfolio… thanks for all your work Travis! Love what you do!
Greetings everyone,
I’m new here only a couple of days. Lost my job recently and since at my age there’s no hope for other employment I thought of giving it a try to trading. It’s a completely unknow teritory for me and any advises or thoughts from anyone are more than welcome and greatly appreciated. Where to start? What budget to start with? How much time will I need before starting trading, etc.
I went through a few articles Travis and I can say it brightened my day. God bless you for placing a smile on my face today. I’m trying to find my way around…. I’ll get there eventually.
I also had a pick at your portofolio… I was expecting to find Nikola but I was wrong…
What’s your opinion on Nikola? Or anyone else’s.
Have a blessed day and beneficial day!
Hey, I think you found a really great spot here. Your question is huge! books and books of info… so first things first- all the studies show that long term investing outperforms traders. sure every now and then someone wins the lottery, but long term wins hands down. If you look at Travis, he role models #1 good diversity #2 take your time and ease into things- because human emotions have a huge impact on the stock market #3 buy good companies and hold them.
If you must trade a little, it is really wise in my opinion to only trade what you are willing to lose. Since you are on a thread about a motley fool service, I would say, I really recommend them. Stock Gumshoe has a rating of different investment services you can check out.
Sorry to hear about your job. Gumshoe has a good take on deciphering all the investment teasers we all receive. This is a really good place to start. A lot of us also subscribe to some of the Motley Fool services. Some of their services are very reasonably priced. Others are too expensive for most. Stick around and learn something!!
I have lost on Appian but not on Fastly, MongoDB, Splunk, NVIDIA. I sold Zoom at $150!!
Who is thinking of moving to cash? After losing $100/share on Zoom, hard to know what to do.
Zscaler and Twilio, DataDog and Hubspot also MF recommends
Hang in there, and invest for at least 3 to 5 years.
Does anyone know about the ceramic energy tiles being shown by MF
