ETH2.0 is about to happen around 7-30-20 with ETH converting to PoS. ETC also will be getting a nice bump due to the old ETH PoW mining gear will not work in PoS world. So older mining rigs will be converted to mine ETC. Chainlink (Link) is the pick and shovel play as it the gateway to many cryptos to associated network for ETH2.0. ETH will be the next internet backbone using blockchain.
What platform does he recommend buying these on…do you know the best platform to stake Etherium for royalties?
Also you mentioned LINK…I bought that awhile ago, but not sure if I bought it with Bitcoin or Etherium…does it matter?
Link is a great choice. Unfortunately, it’s already over $8.00. With that said, I would highly recommend XRP. It’s currently just under .30. This is predicted to go parabolic with the usual consolidations along the way. One very important thing to always keep in mind is this is not an overnight process and emotion should never ever come into play. Nuff said.

I think you may need to read up about Chain Link and what it does and benefits it has .. a good source is Coin Bureau on You Tube . One that is allot more China centric is VeChain and that is already signing some very strong partners .. generally people dont speak about profit when it comes to the Altcoins performance , its more a question of supply and demand and the inherent utility and uptake for the coins themselves that drives the price ….

Don’t use any thing related to Tom Gentile. I have several friends that sign up for his options svc and all them lost money. There customer is the worse I heard.
I believe he is pushing Cardano (ADA) in its Shelley main fork change which happened on 29th July . ADA is down 4.7% in last 24hours however. Its one pf the better coins to get into as it provides an alternative contract path to Ethereum which seems to have some problem moving to ETH 2.0. I don’t and won’t scribe to Tom Gentiles stuff but watched and read his promo and believe its ADA he is touting …
You or I could come up with our own top ten list and his list will not be any better! WHY? Currently there is NO algorithm that CAN meaningfully guide Micro Currency picking in the crypto space to the same extent it is done in the Equities/Bond Markets! WHY? Because there is NOT enough data in this micro market to meaningfully feed into any AI algorithm. Hence any pioneer algo out there feeds off of non quantitative data alone and this type of data are very challenging to measure .

I strongly suggest no one jumps into the program without doing a bit of research: it is expensive 2.5k! I have a high regard for TG but when it comes to micro currency he does not know any more or better than anyone who will put in a bit of effort to search YouTube or Wikipedia Or Investopia, Also, don’t be pressed or caught by the dates they are throwing in the presentation.
As someone said in this thread, there is a steep learning curve in understanding crypto currencies. One shouldn’t jump into this space totally clueless. There are significant differences in trading in this space vs the equities market (Pros & Cons). Volatility index here is very high.( I know, it’s said volatility is your friend in trading! ) Plenty of fees and inefficiencies that can try your patience and lose your money if you are NOT passionate about this market ( like I am that’s why I put up with them!)
I apologize if I sound a bit overbearing here, but I read several posts here at Gumshoe where members signed up for expensive Option trading services and not even know the concept of option! And unable to get their money back. I hate for similar experience in the crypto space.
(Wherest do I speak?: I came from the traditional investment world where I was a CPA, Quant analyst and computer program who wrote & audited millions of lines of code on proprietary trading/investment applications. The tech side of Finance is my domain hence Fintech is up my ally. So when I listen to some presentations of micro currencies, I get upset when I hear hype, inaccuracies, misrepresentations and how many are taken for the ride of the promise of ‘The Greatest Transfer of Wealth in Human History !’ Or some other claims! )
I’d like to be the Gumshoe of micro currencies, but I can’t find any experts anywhere in the WORLD who can answer the real and hard questions on Local & global Regulations, Financial Accounting, GAAP/GAAS, Taxes, Fraud & Scams! The corporate BigWigs are not asking them because they are essentially wedge in a catch 22 position! If the whole Block Chain Technology is made up of 100 blocks of legos, everything that’s talked about online is only 20% —-> micro/crypto currencies. And there are hundreds of CC, many of them are meaningless and scams. Scams & Fraud are not limited to these currencies, they extend to the programs and exchanges!
This sector of the market is at its early infancy. I guess this is my long about way of saying, you are NOT missing anything if you wait few weeks or months to learn a lit bit more about MC/CC before investing/trading in this very micro sector of the market….

excellent advice and feedback.. you tube has a wealth of videos that you can watch folks like Coin Bureau and Bit Boy are good educational guidance .. look for coins that have true utility …. avoid coins on small exchanges they can be bogus ones

For those NOT savy on cryptocurrencies and the NON-Believers… Ask yourselves WHY would the Federal Reserve, Visa & J.P. Morgan, Chase would request a Crypto…!?!?! Everyone who is watching are set to do the same… A small position of $100 on the top 5-7 RIGHT coins could make a tremendous difference…! …it would not make you any less poor…!
