$OLED is too rich a valuation for me, but I did micro-dose into the $JSMD ETF which tracks it along with other bullish healthcare sector companies and $ETSY, plus it only has a 0.30% expense ratio.
Enjoy your vacation.
UDC has stated in the past, that they are five years ahead of anyone else when it comes to blue material. It will only go in new designs though. Samsung is scheduled to begin production of QD-OLED TVS next year. The OLED will be for a blue back lighting – it is rumored to be an fluorescent blue as opposed to the phosphorescent blue that UDC is trying to commercialize. I am holding out hope that it comes to market – I just can’t see Samsung backtracking to use the inefficient fluorescent blue when Samsung’s current QLED’s are selling well.
UDC stated int the fourth quarter that they are looking for a partner by the end of the year in regards to OVJP – the recent press release was exciting and I hope it will lead to a partner.
Last year they announced a venture arm of the company called OLED Ventures. Like to see how that will all progress too. I think it is a good buy, Travis.
It just feels like a correction is coming. Then some good buying opportunities.
Yup, my thoughts exactly that with all the uncertainties surrounding the end of the pandemic, we’ll see a correction this year before a huge bull run later this year and into next. Just guessing, no one knows for sure

Enjoy your vacation!!!
Travis thanks so much for what you do, so much detail in everything you do, truly amazing.
Quick question on the real money portfolio. Do we get real time, or same day notification on when you buy or sell something? Or are all changes shown to members only on Friday when the report comes out?
Thank you
Thanks bud, great info as always and enjoy your time off!!!JD
Travis, please comment on the merger of Teladoc and Livongo Health announced this morning. I believe that many members on this site own TDOC which is causing concern today as it is down about 15% already even as the market has been open only about 1-1/2 hrs as I write this.
Haven’t looked at the details yet, it’s a cash and stock deal, but conceptually I like the idea of these two merging — getting bigger fast is important for leading a new market, and both sides would bring in a lot of customers who can be cross-sold. There’s huge risk in integrating fast-moving companies, and their businesses are meaningfully different so it could certainly go wrong, but I’d be inclined to buy more Teladoc after this, particularly if the negative reaction to the merger continues to push the shares down a bit (I can’t buy this week, since I wrote about it yesterday, but we’ll see what the future holds).
