I had a recommendation from another service to purchase the stock at 13 and it is now down to 10.78. Since it is relatively cheap I figured it was worth a speculation look and will keep it in my speculation account. Only time will tell as electric cars is the future.
yes I bought some around $13 and was worried, but now stock is around $53. Very Happy!!
I’ve had 2 experiences with NIO … I initially bought 500 shares at $2.80 cents and then watched it go down to $1.40 and then sold all my shares very upset that I let it go down 50%. Then I started watching it again and when it got over $6.00 I was kicking myself that I sold it… so this time I bought only 200 shares and then when it hit $12 I bought another 100 so I’m averaged at $9.04 and I’m going to hold it until it collapses or becomes alot more money. Take it from me I’ve always had great stock ideas but was always too impatient. I owned Electronic Arts when it first came out and sold it too soon, I owned Cobra Golf right after it first IPO’d and sold too soon and then it got bought out by Acushnet (which owns Titleist, FootJoy, and Pinnacle Golf)… and others that had I HELD them I’d be a millionaire now but I didn’t. Live and Learn and so I’m proud I decided to get back into NIO and I’m holding it until it goes to $0.00 or makes me alot more money. Good Luck to All and I hope NIO becomes the Tesla of China!
I held my NIO until it fell through my 20% loss limit this past week from its previous high and made a 240% profit from my initial investment cost. A good profit for a five month investment. You can never lose when walking away with a gain. Sometimes you can be selling a stock way before its high like I did with NVDA for A 600% profit instead of what would be a current 2000% profit, and sometimes you can hold on too long and lose all of your profits which has happened to me and is why I maintain a floating 20% loss sell strategy.
