Be aware:

EMERALD HEALTH PHARMACEUTICALS SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT PROCESS

“When shares are purchased at an early stage in a private company, it is usual that if the company becomes publicly listed on a stock exchange the shares would be locked up for some period of time. In the case of Emerald Health Pharmaceuticals, the potential lock-up would be 180 days from the day the shares are registered, which would roughly occur in conjunction with a public listing. When you sign your subscription agreement, you are also agreeing to this requirement“

-EPH has been raising funds since 2017.
-In 2018 shares were $5 each
-They have raised $20m so far
– They aim to raise $50m

Hmmm… Teeka indicated that it was a 75 cent stock. Emerald doesn’t appear to have been a 75 cent stock at any point in time. Could we be wrong about it?

Yes, that was for his previous pre-IPO pick ‘Flora Growth’.

I looked at Flora Growth. Still the same price, except they are throwing in 1/2 a warrant with each unit purchased. Looks like a great business model as well. Woo Hoo! Going to get me some of that!

I also am considering whether to invest more into Flora or put some into EHP.

EPH is interesting. The $3k and the 180 day lock up dont scare me. What bothers me more is the performance (or lack of) of 2 other Emerald compainies since IPO. EMHTF, EMBI. I know you can’t necessarily judge EPH against these but….. it is the same family…

Long time reader, first time “commenter” (sic). I think we can all agree Teeka is plugging Emerald Health Pharmaceuticals https://emeraldpharma.life/pipeline/ …but does anyone have a strong opinion as to whether getting it at $6 share pre-IPO is still wise?

If it weren’t for the FDA approval I’d give this one a miss because of the lock up period, the share price increase and the human trials won’t be ready for at least another year. The orphan drug status thing is apparently a big deal but can equally be revoked easily.
