I have not heard of Dines in awhile. I do owe him much though. He was pounding the table for Uranium and Silver back in 2002-2003. Didn’t take the Uranium advice, but I did buy 4000 oz. of physical silver in Canadian Maple leaves. I did this because it was face value 5 dollar CAD and they were selling @ 7 a coin, so I figured my down side was 2 bucks, so I backed up the truck. Sold half my stash in 2011 @ 30, so I still have half.
I love that type of investment. They come along rarely. Man bitcoin I really whiffed on. I was mining it in 2009 had 3 of them, but the more I read about it, I thought “who the hell would ever use this”. I lost track of the HDD and moved on.
Later in 2011-12 or somewhere around there I watch a video of bitcoin going to zero! Really look it up. It went to zero. Anyhow, I was feeling good about passing on that one and watched in AMAZEMENT, as it went to 20000. Never could reset myself from the past. Human nature and emotions suck!!!!
Anyhow, sorry off topic. I thought Dines was good at the time, but TBH have not heard anything about him for years.
