Matt McCall[1] published a pitch about investing in a portfolio of 5G stocks that the claims will produce the biggest returns.
What companies is he likely talking about, and which ones are most likely to succeed?
He points to autonomous car software provides. Maybe Luminar?
Also Virtual reality companies???
And robotic surgical companies. Maybe ISRG?
He says that these are the companies that will do all the traffic from 5G and profit from it.
Any thoughts on this topic?

Didn’t buy that report. But with regard to 5G, per se, an earlier report of his mentioned transitional materials for devices using 5G, so I bought into the screen manufacturing. He mentioned one, I bought into three – most associated with screen technologies. Dumped two and kept his recommendation. OLED. It’s up over 30%. Slow ascent. A bit pricey now.

chazmag56, I believe the report you are referring to goes back several months. I read McCall’s “The 5G Highway Super Portfolio” last May but don’t know if he published the report even earlier than that. It took a few days to dig up my notes but, for what they’re still worth (remember, it’s now at least 7 months later) below are the company symbols you’re looking for:

    Reco’s as of May 2020
    1) AMBA – Virtual reality and autonomous vehicles
    2) APTV – Best pure-play autonomous vehicles company
    3) AYX – Data analytics leader
    4) BILI – Gaming in the roaring 2020’s
    5) ISRG – The future of surgery
    6) Z – Say goodbye to realtor fees

Additional reco’s as of Aug 2020
    7) ERIC
    8) MRVL
