Scott Garliss’ December 23d Teaser

Hey gang,
I keep getting this teaser from Scott Garliss through Stansberry that if you don’t do this by December 23, 2020, you are screwed! What in the heck is he talking about? A crash he is predicting?

It’s a market timing prediction, his forecast that the market will reach a critical point around that time and fall precipitously. Seems to be based mostly on behaviour of past markets around inflection points that he sees as similar, and on the Gann Indicators (or if you’re more of a believer, “Gann’s Law”) — there’s an interesting description of the idea here for technical traders, much of his work was incorporating astrology into stock market timing but it has also evolved into more of a study of cycles, apparently.
I think all of this stuff is a little silly, frankly, but that doesn’t mean it can’t work. I’m not at all a technical trader or chartist and I know a great many people have a lot of success in following chart indicators and other technical indicators… in part because a lot of other people watch those same indicators.
