Travis may have done an article on this already, I did a quick search and could not find it. I’m sure if he did, or if someone else knows they will post it.

If I was a betting man, I would put my money on one of the three stocks in the article below.

    https://www.fool.com/premium/coverage/investing/2021/01/10/the-3-best-marijuana-stocks-to-buy-for-2021/

A lot of people have been pushing Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR) since its a pot play without actually taking as much risk on in one specific pot stock. More of an outside play, but directly related to the success to the business as a whole. Backing the company who is likely to profit from the boom by renting properties to growers and other businesses.

Another outside the box plan, mentioned in the same article is GrowGeneration. They sell hydroponic equipment and organic gardening solutions, as outlined in the article. So buy the main supplier for equipment to all growers instead of the mass amounts of companies trying to sell marijuana. This stock has shot up in the past few days / weeks.

As always the best part about Motely Fool is the last paragraph in any of their articles. They always include a disclosure statement and in the case of this article it reads as follows.

Keith Speights owns shares of Innovative Industrial Properties. The Motley Fool owns shares of and recommends Cresco Labs Inc., Green Thumb Industries, GrowGeneration, and Innovative Industrial Properties. The Motley Fool recommends Nasdaq. The Motley Fool has a disclosure policy

Key words “OWNS SHARES OF AND RECOMMENDS”. I’ve read a lot of their articles for insight and opinion, but recently I’ve found myself scrolling to the bottom of the article before even reading it to see if they recommend and or own the stock before reading it. While most articles are well written and have lots of info in them, I always read into the stock a bit more if they actually have skin in the game.
