Secure retirement account

Can anyone explain the Dr. Skousan “secure retirement[1] account” where you can’t lose money but can get gains from stock market gains?

Yes, I received the ad, too, and have the same question. I don’t have an answer but am guessing it something like a SPAC or Main Street Capital (SG June 17, 2019) maybe using options to put in a floor on the investment???
Those are variable annuity contracts — the ad has been around a while, last time I looked the terms he teases are indeed appealing in retrospect, but those were available 5-10 or more years ago, such terms are not available now.
