Am I a Loser or a Winner?

My portfolio is down today over $200,000 from its high point; on the other hand, it’s up more than $300,000 from when I started in March or April. Well, I lost more than $100,000 in one day on VXRT but later made it up and more, so I guess I’m on the winning side. Still, I wish things would settle down so I could sell some stock at a profit to pay taxes and put more money in the bank.
