Are there any legitimate concerns about the future of this company? I am a brand new investor and I like everything that I have seen so far. What have I missed? Thanks.

I like the fact that they share their beta-testing results that appear effective and optimistic. I bought it.
I am an old guy too (74) and I have yet to buy my first stock. I opened an account with TDAmeritrade but haven’t used it yet. The very fact that the revenue loss from the Solarwinds attack alone would pay the cost of Shield for the next 6000 years for just one of the big online companies tells me that Shield or something like it is going to be essential to every online business and government. I will buy some INTZ stock tomorrow.
So far, so good, Old Guy.
Of course there are legitimate concerns about their future, this is a pretty high risk speculation on being able to replace a product portfolio in slow decline (TraceCop and Savant) with a new cloud/AI product (Shield) that builds off the data and technology they developed for their two legacy products. Cybersecurity is a hot area, and I like the early indications of customer interest, but it’s also very competitive and it might be that they’re mistaken about how much their customers want or need the product/service. Problems could also emerge when the product gets into somewhat wider use, it’s very early days still.
I really appreciate the information on this site. I have learned a lot more here than I have learned from Navellier and Motley Fool. Thank you.
I have found Louie Navellier to be, in my humble opinion, a long winded blow hard. That said I have made money off his recommendations. The Breakthrough Stocks guarantee of 150,000 from 10,000 invested seemed, again in muy opinion, to be just a parlor trick.
I think it could have been possible if you bought at the right time and sell at the right time too. Mostly on his ticker symbol EXPI .
FEYE and VRME are some other guys with potential in this arena, however they are going up against some serious competition such as PANW, CRWD, FNET, etc…
INTZ found support today but is still testing due to high volatility (16% pd). Projections indicate short term losses over the next couple of weeks. with 27% upside in 3 months est value $23 to $32. If it drops to $18 it loses all support and I hope you have stop loss order in.
You found the right place to start learning about trading. Always keep an eye on your competition.
Thanks. I will try to set a stop loss and will check out the competition.
What is Motley Fool’s latest ” all in ” stock recommendation?
They use that terminology a lot, over the past year or so it has mostly been used to pitch Markel (MKL) or The Trade Desk (TTD), but I haven’t seen a new one recently.
I recently joined the basic (cheapest) level of MF’s subscription services. A couple of their most recent recommendations are Skillz and AirBNB. They separated on the info I’m given as to which are recommended by Tom Gardner and which are recommended by David. Both of these two stocks I mentioned are recommended by Tom, who is apparently the less successful pickers of the two brothers. But regardless, I think these two pics (Skillz, Pins) are good ones. Kathy Wood has been buying a lot of Skillz lately too. Any thought on these Travis?
Skillz is the first stock in a while that I’ve seriously considered shorting. Pinterest I haven’t looked at in a long time.
Oh wow. Ok thanks Travis!
To be fair, the last one I shorted was Tesla, and that would have been disastrous if I stuck with it or failed to hedge the short. I could be wrong, I’m mostly just overwhelmed with what a lousy product Skillz is.
Seeking Alpha’s latest thoughts on Intrusion.
Intrusion’s business profile has been under intense scrutiny in recent quarters.
Despite recent positive updates highlighting the growing adoption of Intrusion Shield, sentiments toward the stock have weakened due to the concerns highlighted in a recent short report.
After further review, Intrusion’s product strategy appears strong and in line with previous expectations. This forms the foundation for my positive outlook.
I also make a case for validating the value of some of Intrusion’s assets.
If management can prove critics wrong in the coming quarters, volatility should subside.
