I agree that we’ll generally see currencies decline in value/purchasing power for the next few decades, as has been the case for the past 90 years or so .
I’m not at all worried about the SDR, though. That has been held out as a “global elites destroy the dollar through nefarious means” bogeyman for the last 10-15 years, and I think those stories are mostly conspiratorial fearmongering. I worry about plenty of things, and agree that inflation is likely to be a problem over time and owning hard assets and companies with pricing power will be important… but I don’t worry about the SDR.
