What’s your conflict with Beacon, Travis?
Couldn’t edit my comment, but wanted to ask, is SLP going on your watchlist?
Just that I write about their publications often.
It opened with a renewal page, and I want to change credit card. could not get it to accept.
I tried to search the site to find in what context you are using the acronym ADR with insurance but was unsuccessful.
” And while their ADR is improving, going from the high 60s a couple years ago to 81% this past quarter (the first time they publicized this metric), it is a lot lower than I would like”
Average Dollar Retention. I haven’t noticed it being used by other insurers, not sure I find it particularly useful.
Although it doesn’t change the fundamentals, the announced NVDA stock split (4:1) in July may be driving the emotional surge. I added at $599 not expecting the short-term gain but +4.88% yesterday surprised me. No nibbling for the foreseeable future.
Splits do tend to drive prices up in the near term, even though we know it’s illogical.

Best to all!
Travis, I was looking at the Real Money Portfolio and wondered why you bought a QQQ call option in Jan 2020. That seems like the opposite of hedging (though it worked out great for you).
What is your method to determine a buy at price?
Depends on the stock, but for stocks i’d like to own for a long time I usually come up with a reasonable valuation level, typically based on asset value or cash flow or earnings, and buy slowly whenever it’s below that price.
Travis. The new format with added hyperlink is great.
Any thoughts on ETFs like BUG? It holds OKTA and other security stocks. The movement is less dramatic than OKTA but probably less reward and less risk relative to owning individual stocks.
I think index ETFs are a fine compromise for lower-risk sector bets. I don’t know that particular one, but I’d look to see if the price tracks close to the index (not a big premium or discount), see how levered it is to any individual names, and make sure the expense ratio is not huge (more than 0.5% or so is pretty hard to justify)

$ENZC – NEW Development
Remember from PR that #COVID FAST-TRACKED clinical trials would start in July?
Apparently, @enzolytics has already been in talks with the
@US_FDA to EXPEDITE, and animal trials start next month.

Travis , What do you think is a good entry price point for SNOW (snowflake) ?
Prashant maybe this will help with your decision on a possible entry point for #snow. Simply Wall St shows #snow at a 13.99x price to book ratio and fair value at $131.46. Finbox writes that #snow is trading at a high revenue valuation multiple and places it fair value at $171.55.

Any thoughts on GHVI Matterport ?
Love the idea, haven’t dug into the financials.
