do you or your readers have any feedback on Power Gauge by Marc Chaikin now marketed through Stansberry Research ?
I subscribe to several services Palm Beach and Stansberry but i have not yet invested the $5000 yearly on Power Gauge.
So far I have found your posts to be very informative. Keep up the great job.

Have not heard much on this new repackaging of the Chaikin Money Flow indicator yet. Lots of data providers also give access to the Chaikin Money Flow oscillator (it’s in YCharts, for example, the one I use most often), but I am not an expert on that — it’s a volume-based indicator, intended to indicate whether institutional buying is probably rising or falling for a particular stock. They may combine it with other indicators, I don’t know, but I don’t have much interest in following mechanical trading systems — if the machines can do it better, they will, and I’m never going to have the best machine.

It is an interesting idea because it is a tool that institutions use and it tracks what institutions are doing. It becomes a self fulfilling feedback loop. Mindless justification; look we were selling (or buying) now they are telling us to sell (or buy) so lets sell (or buy )more driving the prices the very way we said to justify our original action. It creates a wave that probably can be surfed
