I think I read a marketing post from Jeff Clark pushing Teeka’s upcoming AI event … I think (not sure) he said the token was currently trading at $.60 — but now I can’t find the email! I’m likely mistaken.

Our next step is to choose a validator. You can scroll down to find a full list of validators (see the image below).
In order for a validator to earn rewards, they must be in the top 100 in terms of voting power. So first, you’ll want to make sure your validator is comfortably in the top 100.
Next, you’ll want to consider the commission rate. The lower the better. But keep in mind that 0% fees are used as an incentive to draw in delegations and will likely go up over time.
Finally, you can sort by APR. The higher the better, but keep in mind the point on commission rates.
Some well-known validators on Akash include Kava Labs, Forbole, Galaxy Digital, Citadel.one, Cosmostation, Cloudmos, SG-1, Figment, Vixello, and Stakin.
In addition, you can use the Mintscan block explorer for a list of Akash validators as well.
Mintscan also provides information on uptime. (You want 100% or near 100% uptime.) And you can click on validators for more details.

A pop-up will appear. Click the “Delegate” button to proceed.

Fill in the amount of AKT tokens you want to delegate, and click the “Delegate” button to process the transaction through the Keplr wallet.

Once you have rewards, there will be a “Claim rewards” button in the Claimable Rewards box.
You can delegate, redelegate, or undelegate by clicking on the “Manage” tab next to your validator.
From the moment you initiate the unbonding process, it takes 21 days to unstake.
During this time you won’t earn rewards. When the process is complete, you can transfer or trade your AKT tokens.

I purchased all my shares in Kraken and easily transferred to Keplr wallet. I have 2k shares staked and use kava_labs as my validator which is currently at 8.89% APR. Teeka recommended this coin at $.17 so it’s done extremely well for those of us who bought in when the recommendation first came out through his subscription service.

Auto payments is staking. When you stake, you get a reward (interest)weekly based on a yearly rate. Part of this you have to pay 5 or 10 percent of your return to the node holder. Keep in mind that if you stake and shit hits the fan, you can’t unstake for 21 days. I’m not saying this to scare you but it’s something you need to be aware of. If you were going to stake for 6 months or more anyway then no worries. You also want to take you rewards every so often and reinvest so they can also get rewards and compound interest but there is a fee to claim rewards so either don’t stake everything or purchase more to claim the rewards.if you’re dealing in small amounts the fees to claim can be more than the rewards.

As a subscriber of Teeka’s Crypto Confidential, I do get a solicitation to watch whenever he has something else to sell. I watched the last one where he claims that his #1 AI coin or may be some other coins do have a built in code in their smart contract that allows royalty payments automatically every month just for holding a $1000 worth of the coin.
Anyone on this forum who subscribes to his Crypto Income service can confirm if this claim is really true or not? If true then how? Graph (GRT) is supposed to be one of those coins with built in code to generate the payment and I haven’t seen one.

I have had the same experience with Coinbase wallet, too, which sent me the same message …”Not enough liquidity…”. I don’t live in NY, so I was able to buy AKT in Kraken. Perhaps, the only possibility I see for you to acquire AKT is to ask a relative or friend who lives in a different State to purchase AKT and transfer it to a wallet that you may have … a wallet that could receive AKT in NY. Or, use a VPN and buy from the other exchanges, then transfer out of them to your Coinbase Wallet or Keplr, etc.

Maybe you’re not saving enough ETH to cover the ETH Network fee? Be sure to leave a few dollars of ETH in your wallet. If the transaction still says not enough liquidity, reduce the amount of AKT you’re buying so you’ll have enough ETH to cover the fees.

I am using Coinbase wallet extension on my computer and it doesn’t give me options to buy so I am trying to swap Eth for Akt. I sent Eth from my Coinbase acct to the wallet extension but can’t seem to make a buy. It keeps saying no asset found for Akt. It does show up when I try to make a swap between the two but won’t allow the trade. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
You don’t buy AKT through the wallet extension, you need to swap it for ETH. It should then give you the cost to do so. I have found by doing this at non peak times you get the best price. I live on the east coast so I do most of this type of trade around 6 am and seem to get the best prices to do so. Good luck

My understanding as to why you receive the liquidity message is in order to swap someone has to offer AKT to swap and since it’s been on fire lately, most people will hold it. I would try the early morning to see if there is less competition from other buyers.
You can buy it on crypto.com and can transfer it but just make sure that you are transferring it on the same chain. I am not sure if it is ETH based or Cosmos Based on crypto.com

Buy Atom (Cosmos) via Coinbase. Store via wallet. , go to osmosis. Can trade on osmosis for anything on cosmos ecosystem (Akash) included. Go back to Keplr, look into Keplr for staking. Can go to http://www.staking rewards.com and find companies that provide staking within a country you are happy staking or feel safe in. Go back to Keplr, go to staking, search through companies that provide staking and stake to get rewards.

I already own Cosmos (Atom) in my Coinbase account but confused as to getting it from Coinbase to osmosis to trade for Akt. I can’t believe it’s been such a hassle trying to purchase this token. Thank goodness for Stock Gumshoe. So glad I didn’t get Teeka’s subscription and find out it’s so difficult to purchase some of his recommendations because of my NY residence. Hey Zero, the NY thing is immaterial. You need to download a KEPLR Wallet from Google Apps. The whole thing with this stuff is the fees. They get you on fees coming and going with all transactions and bleed you dry. Coinbase should let you transfer your funds to the KEPLR wallet. Once you get funds into the KEPLR wallet, go to app.osmosis.zone there you’ll be able link your KEPLR wallet and swap your Cosmos for Akash. Get your Akash, go back to the KEPLR page and stake. Use the stakingrewards.com website though. There are so many foreign countries that have validator nodes that can just swipe your stuff (if you are giving your tokens to a foriegn validator I question the legality if it’s a country with sanctions against). I am not a lawyer or an accountant and this spaces so new without any legal structure so…….You can also go to any of these tokens Discord websites and research the validators through asking questions, but look this shit is speculative, strictly speculative and remember if you’re betting on this and if you are from the US you’re betting against the US and that just makes you a fool, your betting against your own country. Of course having exposure is a good thing but don’t bet the farm because IT WILL BE REPOSESSED. I question whether this is all a scam but you wanted to know how to do it so now you know.
