What is Teeka Tiwari’s “The Super Halving”?Apparently, Teeka’s “The Super Halving” event refers to a complete stop in new supply of Bitcoin that according to Teeka will happen this year instead of the originally intended year 2140 (120 years from now!).
He claims that there will be 6 small altcoins that will see a price increase that will be much higher than the price increase that Bitcoin itself will experience from the full cut off of the new supply of Bitcoin.

Im confused by Teekas assessment of “New Supply of Bitcoin” . that is essentially an oxymoron. BTC is already a finite resource, meaning the amount of BTC that currently exists is what will exist which is what makes it both valuable and a store of value simultaneously. Now if we are talking about cutting the existing circulating supply of BTC in half…that would require taking current “owners” of BTC and somehow removing their current holdings from them. Im not sure that can happen especially with the advent of private hardware wallets and ownership keys….etc. Id highly recommend listening to bitcoin audible to gather an understanding of what BTC is at the fundamental level because its is much…much more than just a “coin”. It is the conversation that was had when TCP, and TCP/IP were being discussed but earmarked for this next generation of project builds. Dont even get me started on Eth, Matic, Polkadot, etc. Lol.
No, miners mine new BTC they can sell into the market. About every 4 years the amount they can mine is cut in half. They had to sell it to pay for expenses in the past but now investors are investing their money into the miners so they don’t have to sell new BTC, squeezing the supply faster than expected.
Forgive my total crypto ignorance, but does this mean only large investors supporting the miners will be able to obtain new Bitcoin, leaving the rest of us trading what’s already been mined up to this point? If so, will this drive the price of Bitcoin up? I’m confused lol.
No, they won’t sell it to anybody they can just hold it according to Teeka’s theory. So yes we will just have the current supply for increasing demand which should drive up the price.

They can actually borrow against the bitcoin they hold at low interest rates (maybe 1-3%) knowing the price of bitcoin will go up from say 40K-100K or more.
I thought every halving would be a decrease in the amount being produced during each halving by half until the total amount is 21 million. The more that has been produced causes the remaining to take longer to be produced.

This morning, I received yet another informative piece of marketing for PB Venture, in which Teeka said “oops, the deal is fully subscribed, but they are getting approval to go for more funding”. Wow you most be really very knowledgeable on Crypto since you stared it 5 years ago! I am nervous because I am totally new at this and I don’t want to mess it up. It can be challenging for me, but I learned that using the hard wallet is the best way to keep your crypto safe. A couple of comments:
(1) I believe the following were tied to the event of BTC miners no longer needing to sell their BTC to keep on mining; however, in the interim, does any one have news on 3 of Teeka’s picks: BFARF, HSSHF, VYGVF.
I’ve noted little to no action and have even considered selling most of my positions.
(2) As for information re: PB Venture. So kindly provided. Thank you. I thought I’d explore a purchase; however my mobile is located in Ontario, CANADA and guess what? I was told that robotcache “not available in Ontario”? Any others located in Canada get a similar block?

Sorry Helpless! Who knows, maybe next Monday they will open the borders and you can race down to Buffalo and make your purchase …. lol. My sister-in-law is in Etobicoke, and she is feeling extremely helpless, it’s been 22 months since she’s seen her baby brother. If the border opens, we anticipate a small Canadian invasion of our own, since my hubby is the only one of the siblings south of the border. Plus, none of them have had the chance to meet our most precious pup, who came to live with us just 3 weeks after all the family was here for a visit.

On a personal note, I truly appreciate your comments. If / when the border reopens, based on your comments, you are wise to anticipate your Canadian invasion of family. Oh, sorry to hear that. I know they were pushing the Infinity program a month or so back, and there was a $200 per year fee, but that was for PB Confidential, Ctypto Income, Alpha Edge, PB Letter and a couple of other to be introduced services all together.
It would be easier to take if the market wasn’t crashing 20%. I think I’ll call to be sure.

It’s been a bit quiet, I know they are working on promoting one of the other services pretty actively at the moment. The volatility is mainly due to China’s further crackdown on crypto & mining. Guess someone needs to tell Elon Musk to tweet something positive, and they will rocket back up like last Monday. This type of “investment” is still so new, hence the volatility everytime someone sneezes and burps at the same time. I was toying with adding a little more ETH and BTC while they are so low, on the fence with that right now. I’m right about at the limit of what I am willing to put into Crypto from a risk and portfolio balance standpoint. If anything else comes out, I’ll post – working from home today, so I can have one computer open to work apps, and the other open to important things like my email & stock portfolio!
In 2016 I took 15,000 out of my Roth IRA and bought two bitcoin and 20 Ethereum, 2017 it was way up and then it went down forever, so in August 2020 when I finally doubled my money again, I sold all of it. Yes I can kick myself now. I now have about 50K back in crypto and it’s only worth about 40 K right now mostly Ethereum with some bitcoin and around 20 other recommendations by Teeka, Oxford Club and Matt McCall. Not selling (learned my less the first time), may buy a little more ethereum.

Soooo good to hear from everyone this morning!!! My eyes on BTC if drops below 30,000 – a Cramer watch sign – but I remain for the long term. A risk worth holding.
woo hoo, I jumped in when BTC hit $29,700, and ETC at $1,768. Just checked, BTC is now $31,645 and ETC is $1860. Buy on the dip, indeed. My plan is to sell once I’m up 3x or more, just to the extent of what I put in, then let the rest go however it will, and pull out what I need once I retire. I did that with MATIC once it hit 5x, sold $500 worth, and let the rest go. It’s taken a hit, as has everything else, but funny enough, it’s still more than 2x . My stock portfolio is all over the place today, but as the day goes, its tracking in the right direction. Interesting times indeed.
We should be seeing some buy alerts tomorrow around 4pm Et from PB Confidential. Teeka is giving us the alert to move money into your coinbase, binance, etc account’s. Stay tuned, I’ll post as soon as I can, unfortunately it’s coming during my commute home. I did get a put alert on Alpha Edge for Walmart, if anyone is into that.

He simply means have funds there already so you can buy the picks ASAP before they shoot up in price from everyone buying. Although I never get in at the initial price… people are to fast lol. You don’t need to move funds to Coinbase if you link a bank account.

Glad he’s finally talking about the main ones versus some of the off ones like my ethernet wallet MEW. I prefer to have my crypto in more established companies that have better security like coinbase and binance
I have been following this thread almost since the beginning and love how you all help each other. I got into Bitcoin about 5 years ago and had been a member of PB Confidential. I love Teeka’s asymetric bets and have made lots of $ from some of these. But I do hate all the emails, they are never ending!
I am a huge believer in Bitcoin. I was just at the Bitcoin conference in Miami and there is so much happening in this space and so many super smart people in this arena, it’s hard not to believe it will continue.
If you would like to learn more about Bitcoin, read “The Bitcoin Standard” by Saifedean Ammous, I highly recommend it. This book not only makes one understand Bitcoin, but goes thru the history of money and helped me understand why Bitcoin will change the world. And for a shorter book thats it a bit easier to read, check out “Inventing Bitcoin” by Guy Swann. For shorter videos and books, please check out anything by Andreas Antonopoulos, he is a wonderful speaker and educator.

phew …..also, we got another update with a video addressing the volatility. Brief recap – China is cracking down on the miners, cutting off the power, and access to banking. This is forcing the miners to sell their bitcoins so they can relocate somewhere to continue operations. With so many coins hitting the market at a forced sale, institutions are picking them up on the cheap. Grayscale GBTC is currently selling at a discount of approx 15% from the assets, so that is a better buy than buying BTC itself. No telling on when the market will correct, but this situation is similar to 2013, 2015, and 2017 with China’s bans. Every time there is a crash in the prices, the rebound higher, stay calm and look at this as a long term investment, and only invest what you can afford to. It was a 20 minute video ….

So the new buys are those from BAND to UBT right?
I believe these were both on earlier, but these 5 were prioritized due to current pricing and where they are in the lifestage of their project. I happened to own all of these except UBT, so I think I’m going to hold tight for now. I may go bargain hunting from the update list for some of those I don’t already hold, but at this point I will only be able to do little buys, which often isn’t cost effective. Right now, I have a big work deadline, so I must focus on that instead of this fun stuff.
