Please accept my apologies. The technology referred to is basically identical to that of photovoltaic solar panels as we know them now. The novelty is the fact their technology claims to be able to turn a glass window into a solar panel by spraying a coating on it.
I mixed up two teasers that I saw when writing the question above.
The company with the ‘solar spray’ must be SolarWindow Technologies, Inc.
So, sorry for bothering you all.
The company is WNDW, Solar Window. It had a big run and now a big drop.
