IIVI may be a huge partner in this endeavor. I am up 50% on my purchase a couple of years ago. I am adding more.

I listened to the video And it was the glasses that they expect Apple to put out. But the catch was not the glasses or Apple it was what they speculate will be the company that produces parts for the glasses. They did not tell you a company name. You need to buy the subscription for AI. Would be cool if somebody that had the subscription lets us know what’s up.

How would the Apple glasses be better than Google Glass? The other night was watching “Gadget Man” show on Amazon Prime ( old episodes but some of them are fun ), and a “new” gadget being tried was Google Glass ( I think it was shot in 2014 ) “Google says everyone will be using them.” That confidence didn’t pay off for them.

Since I subscribed all I have been receiving is high pressure ads for new subscriptions. For my current subscription, they send two stock recommendations that are common information and mentioned on any investment show.
I don’t like the use of high pressure tactics (ends at midnight, etc) and the song and dance. They will waste an hour of your time on a video, then at the end reveal nothing, except if you pay for more subscriptions we will give you the name of a stock. Motley Fool is starting to look like more like a meme fad than an investment vehicle.
When they do recommend a stock, they do not address valuation, or anything about timing other buy and forget. In my opinion, both matter.

I’ve been a Motley Fool subscriber (Stock Advisor, their basic service) for over a year now and have learned to ignore their sales pitches/ up-sells. I do listen to the presentations because their provide a broader perspective on the market and trends. I also learned – using Travis’ approach – to decipher the hints in their teases and am able to identify the company – pretty much 9 times out of 10. I think that the company that they teased in the T288 pitch is Ceva (CEVA), a small cap company that licenses out the IP that is used, among other things, in DSP-based platforms for 5G baseband processing in mobile and infrastructure; imaging and computer vision for any camera-enabled devices; audio/voice/speech and ultra-low power applications for multiple IoT markets; sensor fusion software and inertial measurement unit solutions for AR/VR, robotics, remote controls, and IoT.
As to the valuation issue, their philosophy is that their high valuation recommendations has such a huge growth potential (3X, 5X or even 10X) and the business models that are so solid that the valuation becomes a moot point. Of course, if you are a value investor (or growth-at-reasonable -cost) then you WILL find their recs too “expensive.” I invested in a bunch of cybersecurity stocks where the forward P/E is in hundreds and Price/Sales in 50s – yet they are all up between 75% to 150%. I intend to hold them for 5-7 years and, with cybersecurity only becoming more critical over time, expect them to keep growing. This is not an investment advice, do your own DD – this is just my two cents.

I´ve also been a subscriber for MF for a year and can’t say that I’m too impressed. I then again believe that one of the big companies who are gonna fly high and see their stock soar with the Apple glasses is Nordic Semiconductor (NOD) on OSBX. They already provide the chip to the AirTag and Apple remotes, nordics order book is full from a “unnamed” customer (obviously Apple) and they are the leading provider of chips in IoT and bluetooth technology. I really do thin AR/VR is the next big thing and think that is a positive thing others have already done a lot of trial and error, so I’m positiv that Apple will actually begin a “new era” with T288 glasses or the internet of things that they are building.
